Worry ko lang is ung burn-in issue kpag nanood tapos may black bars top & bottom or sa ordinary tv signals ung TV logos.
movie marathon pa naman sa bhay.

Guys the 42 inch plasma didnt came, the have the 42 inch lcd instead 1920x1080p (68k) only and the 1368x768 w/free logitech remote (63k) only . They wish to finish up these lcd 1st since most of the chain store are promoting this units. So i guest we have to wait.

Are all the 4 Tvs displayed in the picture there are at their highest possible combination of settings? I mean WHAT IF (kunyari lang ah  walang personalan hehe) default settings nung ibang brnad ay masama talaga compared to LG? or mas naayos angs etting ni LG...

I'm just curious and para lng may peace of mind, and makapaga decide na ako san ko gagastusin pera ko (pana, samsung o LG) kapag bumili na ako dyan

kaya pala mura eh .. ^_^
a really kewl item tv to own..
used pio DV400 .. 1080i, 720p, 480p!!!!!
no visible difference (maybe its because its a native 480p)
also tried it via VGA output via my laptop .. ganda parin !!
by the way .. ill be borrowing my officemates "muslim" dvd player tomorrow to compare the PQ via component cable .. hoping that it'll yield good results in PQ .. ^_^

anyone tried using ordinary dvd players with this one?? (480p via the component cable Yr/Pr/Pb) ??

defult setting yung mga display namin sir. You can adjust the setting there if you like, but its better to compare pics apple to apple di ba. Kung saan magustohan ng mata mo then thats your tv.

Big jump talaga boss, kung meron kang lcd tapos nakita mo yung plasma. Malinaw! Tama si Ninjababez ang linaw kahit sa P***d movies 480p!

Sa black level at viewing angle talaga lamang ang plasma sa lcd. Sa linaw, baka pwede idaan sa settings. Napansin ko kasi na pangit ang mga default setting ng mga lcd.

If you are planning to buy the samsung, I would say better buy the lg plasma because of its black level which is what everyone is soughting after because it adds depth and reality to the image. I also heard that it is good for standard broadcast signal. I am not just sure regarding its power consumption as compared to an lcd but sir e reply said that for long term usage, they are just equal.

No diff sa electrical consumption, even you adjust the 32a450 w/the very best setting the lg plasma still stands in terms of true color (skin tone and black levels) also the LG has RGB adjustments.

the best is to see the unit for yourself, just today 3/3 saw the unit and took it.
