I would start with all the  sliders at the 0 position. Listen to the music. Rather than adding what seems to be missing, remove what seems to be excessive,  make very small adjsutments at a time

your equaliser must have a manual that should tell you how to do it...you can go to the manufacturers website, for a look and see...

afaik, you need a pink noise source and a microphone set up in order to  tune out resonances in your listening area, something your ears are not competent to do... ;D

but what I would do is to use a PC and check the equalizer settings (assuming the audio stuff/drivers is properly installed)  in the Audio panel as a start.  It would normally have equalizer settings for a variety of music  (rock, jazz, classical, pop, etc...)  You can even simulate room conditions (arena, church, living room, padded cell, toilet, etc.) with the equalizer settings it shows.  I think it would normally have about 20 different equalizer settings by default.
