ganda talaga ca 550a/540p.
been playing vinyls.....nostalgia
bakit kaya iba tunog nitong carnival dito sa house(8ft apart) mas maayos keysa sa tindahan...when i auditioned the ms carnival 6 /ca 740a/c... parang pag nadinig mo mahirap bilhin..hahaha.......but for 10k. the listening room in trinoma sucks, still the mezzies sounded great. the others, carvival(good), avant(better)...i havent heard the avianos. 
ganda niya(ms c6) tumunog  d2 sa bahay.....labas yung lapad(lps) at linis(ca540p/550a). kahit sa cds..using artic ic, ayos din naman(cardas cross pa rin ). siguro kaya ganun, better listening room and placement, slight toe-in, sand filled speaks, break-in at quality speaker cables(silver). kaya lang, blue ray player lang...hahaha.....550c next.....ginugulo ako nitong clowns..when i think of them mezzies, these clowns seem to sound better and better...mezzing up my next audio upgrade....cd player or mezzies....hahaha ikot ulo dito sa carnivals.

Great to hear that you're enjoying your gear immensely. Nelson wants to hear those Vinyls. Deep inside, he really wants to switch to analogue.

The Mezzos are truly neutral and revealing speakers. It's just that 5th Ave Trinoma lacks the facility to make these speakers sing. However, they do have the nicest people... and that makes up for a lot of things.

very happy with the ca550a/ca540p...(turntable user? buy the new  cambridge audio 540p/640p phono pre-amp)...printed on top portion of ca550a box

turntable?  an old gemini pt 2000 II, cartridge - stylus, shure white label.

a turntable upgrade is also on my wish list. but that can wait till my 3year old son stops toying with my equipment. he already broke a shure v15vxmr stylus,etc. etc. ouch. every time he gets near my sound system my blood pressure shoots up.

Tama! Actually pagkatapos nga nya mapakinggan yung system ko, napunta pa kme sa AVDI at pinarinig nya sa akin mga focal+bryston... para bang "cleansing". Para maalis sa pandinig nya yung napakajologs kong system.

I would think so. Nung prior years pwede eh, but it can be hard to take pictures sa busy rooms (unless gusto mo isama yung mga tao sa pictures). You can go there early to beat the hustle and bustle.

As with CA, I'm not sure how well they'd gel with Paradigm speakers.

Depende din kasi sa pandinig yun ng tao. I suggest you try them together.

CAs are a bit harder to partner because of their character, so it is best if you can hear them with your gear.

naku sino naman kaya dun nakapagtry nyan dun sa 5th ave, itsura at pagsasalita pa lang nung mga tindero dun mukang binebentahan ka lang...eh CA at paradigm parehong matalas tumunog...try mo audio analogue crescendo sa paradigm, interested lang me kung maganda...pag ok uunahan kita

Hindi naman po lahat dun ay benta ang habol. Hindi lang po talaga sila specialized domestic audio shop, kaya yung ibang salesmen/salesladies ay wala talagang masyadong background at reference sa hifi / home audio. Mas malaking business po kasi nila yung PA systems and other electronics.

Ang gusto ko po talaga sa kanila eh maayos po silang kausap (at least sa experience ko) at never ako nagkaron ng issue sa service nila. They're less flexible sa pricing and other arrangements kesa sa smaller shops dahil chain store sila at centrally managed, pero in terms of consistency and willingness to please eh masaya po ako sa kanila (lalo na sa Trinoma and Park Square branches).

sa pag upgrade naman. mas madali mag upgrade ng parehong brand. kunin mo lang yung mataas na modelo.
siguradong hindi ka magkakamali at magsisi.

was able to audition the 840a/640c this afternoon paired with Mezzo 6 and Aviano at park square...
mababait po talaga mga staff nila dun..very accomodating..anyway, so far so good..but i think, CA gears are not for me..
