room treatment update...
I was a bit hesitant on the on-set pursuing treatment for the room. I did not know where to begin. the guest room had already been constructed and would be too tedious to tear the walls down again and place the necessary absorbers/diffusers.
…some questions that came to my mind –
…”do I tear down the walls?”
…“can I just place panels on the walls and still have the impact?”…
…”how do I make the materials safe from causing asthma attacks?”…
…“how do you know where to place them?”…
…“how do you know how many to place?”…
I decided then to move as such –
…place carefully wrapped rockwool panels
…place a few here and there as they come
…appreciate sonic improvement
…as I add one after the other (thanks gunblade)
…move the panels around
…calibrate audyssey following prescribed tips (thanks streetsmart)

when they say “you only believe when you experience it yourself”…that choice is something you would really have to take… the minor tweaks I made just seemed I changed my whole speaker and amplification system…
I never new it could be this good! I don’t know what else could be added to make the sound relatively better… some things may need change though (window A/C to split)…I am 70% on my way to what I think should be my full treatment.
they say that …”50% of the sound is the room and it’s treatment…” I seriously think that number is underestimated…
