^ Did you keep your Alien head Paul or did you sell that too when you disposed most of your LEs? It would look good on your shelf beside the Alien head.

Hehe yes I still have the Alien Head with me. I wana get rid of it but there was no taker.

Amazon DE is releasing an Iron Man 1 & 2 SteelBook. Looks like we will be getting what we wanted, a cheaper option to iron man 1 SB.

No artwork yet but speculators say that it's probably going to be similar to either the Batman Begins/TDK flipper steel or similar to FF 1 & 2 steel. Personally, I would've wanted a release similar to the New Moon SB + empty Twilight steel but I suppose that's not going to be the case with this one. $:-\$

Let's wait for further details on artwork, price, etc.

Probably quite expensive... where else can one get an egg of that species? LOL

But really, it's a good thing no one wanted the Alien Head. Now you get the chance to own both LEs and display them proudly on your shelf.

BTW, I've read that the alien egg will be available in the US. Checked amazon and it's still not listed though

I'm quite surprised by the Clash of the Titans German Steel (Kampf der Titanen) release with that craqueled/cracked laquer finish similar to 10,000 BC. Looks really stunning... It comes with a slipcase too!

Got my Edge of Darkness Australian steelie yesterday.

A couple of things I liked so much about this steelbook:

Text/Title is debossed

Very nice, clean, and simple artwork at the back

and the matte finish.

I am, overall, very pleased with this steelbook.

Universal Pictures launches Gladiator Blu-ray disc replacement program

Mine's from Germany and I'm still trying to find out if they can replace mine

BTW, Germany also has a re-release of Gladiator, not sure though if this is the remastered version. Can't seem to find any re-release of Sapphire from US

Another PDVD member bought Paranormal Activity Aussie Steel... If my memory serves me right, I think it was sir ThePatriot.

Anyway, I didn't get Paranormal Activity although I was tempted to (I heard the steelbook looks really nice with embossing/debossing and clean artwork)... but I didn't get it because i didn't want to spend money on something that will scare the living daylights out of me! LOL

Paranormal Aussie steel is region locked? See? buti na lang di ko binili! hehehe. Edge of Darkness is region free.

It's still good to invest in an all-region player though... para di na problema ang region coding.
