John Noble is wonderfully cast and a far cry from his role in Return of the King, I might add.

So that's where I saw before! I've been trying to figure out why he looked so familiar  :D

I first saw Fringe on CS/9 while I was channel surfing. I saw what I now know to be Episode 7. Trying to catch up on the episodes now. May I just say, it's great to see a grown-up Pacey (Joshua Jackson)  ;D

Ive confused him with the bad guy in Twin Peaks.

Is it just me or Anna appears to have gained some weight since Ep. 14.   Pregnant?

I hope I'm not being spoilerish here, so just the same, I'll put this up:

*********SPOILERS AHEAD*******************

Just can't help but feel a little "here we go again," that they've made Agent Dunham's character having some kind of a Sydney Bristow-esque history.  (or for that matter, Dana Scully-ish).  I mean, she being experimented on when she was just a kid.  (Sydney being part of that Project Christmas [was it?] in "Alias.")

And I know, she already showed her special ability a few episodes back.  I hope this better turn up something different than predictable.

Talk about perfect timing with his Star Trek movie opening--J.J. Abrams manages to include "Live Long and Prosper", hand greeting and all, plus other Star Trek references on this week's Fringe episode, LOL.  ;D

And on next week's season finale, the ultimate Trekkie homage, as the original Mr. Spock, Leonard Nimoy, makes his first appearance as the founder of Massive Dynamic, Dr. William Bell.

After three relatively ho-hum episodes, this week's episode ups the ante again. Can't wait for next week's episode.

With that penultimate episode, John Noble got his Emmy tape to submit. How can one not love Walter?

Season 1 ends with a bang. Abrams has balls showing the Twin Towers in his ending shot knowing how Americans still consider it a "sensitive" issue. The reveal about Peter was not too surprising because you could see it coming a mile away.

Can't wait for the second season.

the same reaction from me!  dammit charlie! i like the character.  so in effect he is going to be written off from the show and looks like eventually replaced by the new agent.

well maybe they could get the other charlie from the alternate version.

I don't see how the ending played out. When Peter and the new agent found Francis and the body of the nurse, the shapeshifter had to be the nurse because where else would the body come from. Which means Francis was still Francis. Doesn't make sense to me. If it happened afterwards, well, that doesn't make a lot of sense either.

I think dun sa lugar na yun  tinago ng shapeshifter yung body ng nurse, dun sa cart at pinagpalit lang nya body.

Okay, that's an explanation that didn't occur to me because I thought they had found the nurse's body (when they first arrived). After watching that part again, hindi pala. Thanks Battousai!

^ yup. that's the best explanation for that. they shouldn't have done that with charlie. me and my wifey were kinda disappointed with the ending coz we really like his character.

BTW, this episode's title should be...

"Shapeshifters and Typewriters" ;D

So that's why the guy looked so familiar but for some reason I can't place it.

Great start for the second season. I love it when main characters get this kind of treatment, it keeps everyone on their toes. It gives you the feeling that everyone's expendable.

I also love it that this is one series where I'm not likely to read extremely stupid posts that's just all sexual innuendoes and nothing else.  ::)
