Wow excellent news - PhP 800
I hope the build quality is solid though. Cause if Amazon continues to run its slash-down promos on BD & HDDVD discs, things would roughly end up at par in terms of net costs.
With the 30-50% off price discounts on Amazon, a BD disc may have a net cost of around $15 let's say on average. If you use JAC to get it here, we have to add around $1.50 per disc (rate: $6/lb) plus if you order 4 discs minimum - add $1.25 per disc ($5 flat rate/shipment) for handling. That would total an ave of $17.75 per disc. Using a buffered $45 forex, that would run to around PhP 798.75... Almost bang-on the prospective local Warner titles.
Caveat: Quick pencil pushing lang to mga sir, of course there would be other variables ranging from individual disc prices to how big or small your shipments would be. Well one definite upside of doing it locally would be FASTER leadtimes. No need to wait around two weeks to get your hands on the BD babies.
