32" TV: need suggestion
« on: Jun 18, 2012 at 08:45 PM »
Hi Guys

I'm buying this month or next month a 32" TV as replacement to our 29" CRT TV. I am open to either LCD, LED backlit LCD or plasma.

Only needs to cover the basics: good reception for Local channel, Good PQ for movies (and occasional PC gaming), good enough sounds. Power consumption is also considered.

Built-in media player, not required but a welcomed addition if there is any.

SMART or internet ready features is not wanted. (i believe, our current PC provides a lot of better functions)

HD ready resolution is okay for the 32" size. But 1080p panel is again a welcomed addition.

I already asked Sights and Sounds on this, he recommended Samsung LED TV 32EH5000 at P22K. If there is no better choice I might choose this one :D

anyway, if you also have 37" or 40" recommendation na similar pricing or close. include na rin. I think I can spend 25k here.

In a similar thread I posted, I ended up getting a Panasonic 32X30 from SnS. It's an LED Smart TV, HD ready, built-in media player, 3 HDMI inputs. Power consumption is 60 watts.

It may be an entry level TV but I think you may want to consider it when you audition the TVs at SnS. Boss Vic can surely give you a price way below your 25k budget for this TV. :)

@redline
yes I also consider other entry level TV as long as it works. Thanks, I will also do further research on that.

@my_einjels
it is also part of my consideration, the only thing that is holding me back is the placement in our house.
