I believe Oliver is the brother of Jeff. I got it at the same price Nemesis91 and SNS used to give it before they ran out of stocks.

just got my PV8 yesterday.. tested on PS3 Uncharted game, No green phospor spotted kahit paikut ikutin ko si drake ng sobrang bilis.. i guess i'm one of those who cant notice it.

meron lang ako naobserved, since wla pa ko antenna or cable. i tried watching ung noise ba tawag dun ung dots na black white and gray for 1-2 hrs. hehehe. nag fflicker sya ng shade ng red every once in a while.. dapat na ba ko kabahan at mag pa replace ng unit, or normal lang sya.

pero while playing ps3 and watching avi file. wala naman ako nakikitang ganun. dun lang talga sya lumalabas sa noise..

yeah its a typical symtoms of a bad or interrupted signal bro .. :(
sadly, the only way to fix that is by getting another provider (if youre using cable), or reposition your antenna.  ;)

matanong lang, does your vga cable have ferrite cores (some would call it insulators)? is it a new vga cable or an old one? i had issues before wherein i used an old rusty vga cable that caused pic problems. if you want, you can try my suggestion and use a vga cable with ferrite cores. baka lang makatulong.

If you still want to get the PV8 or PV80, Anson's in Glorietta Makati still have stocks...  Check the price na lang po.  I saw it also na naka zero interest sya for 18 mos.

Guys,

Di ba may ganito tayong na-encounter na problem din sa pv70 nung isang forumer din natin, I just can't find the correct link,...

anyhow, Tonteng, you should contact your seller ASAP, para mapuntahan yan agad kung may problema man,...

Good luck sir,

ABC

anong speakers gamit nyo?  wala kasi akong sound system.  and pag nanunuod ako gamit yung Popcorn hour, masmalakas yung mga background effects kesa sa mga salita.  Especially pag may mga explosions... sobrang lakas and nasasapawan yung mga salita.

is line conditioner an option for you?  or are you already using one?
youre already using a decent voltage regulator, right?
have you tried testing your players on another unit?  or another location?

Ei bro! Well there is always that possibility. This is what I do here in sony and I get alot of weird issues from customers in the US all the time. I always try to isolate what's causing the issue. If the scenario applies to Tonteng, we would usually forward it to engineering so that further tests can be done with special instruments where the unit is located. Most of the time the culprit are just ordinary household appliances or strong motors and bad electrical wiring/voltage conditions causing the interference. Sometimes being near a tv station with overdriven signals may also contribute to a prob like this..
