1. Do these model have coax output?
2. If it does, can i experience 7.1, dts-hd or dolby tru hd thru coax connection?

Hello bro eksi:
1. Not sure though if these players have digital coax connectors as info on the specs of these players are very limited as of this time. The players will be launched initially in Europe [later this year].
2. Assuming that these players do have coax connectors, IMHO, the coax connection cannot decode/output the newer high def audio formats. Only an HDMI connection has this capability. HDMI allows more than two channels of PCM (Pulse Code Modulation), or a multi-channel PCM, compared to the 2-channel of a coax connection. Further, HDMI supports the transmission of more types of codecs (compression methods) than a coax connection. HTH  :D

Thanks po sa reply.  I just still wander - there are 7.1 receivers but without HDMI input, do these receivers can only receive, at most, 6.1 input?

No, you can't.. High resolution uncompressed audio (truehd and dts-ma) can only be passed via HDMI. coax is limited to 2 channel LPCM or compressed multichannel sound like dolby digital and dts.

You can experience uncompressed audio since the player already decodes them internally and has 7.1 analogue outputs. All you need is a 7.1 amplifier/reciever. No need the coax or digital output.

Clarification 1: How about if coax is the only available connection? Can't get 7.1 signal from a blue-ray player (with coax output) connected to a 7.1 receiver which has coax input?

Clarification 2: Does this mean that dts-ma (which is 7.1) will be converted to dts (5.1) or dts-es (6.1) if passed through coax?

Yup Cheesy

Clarification 3: Given above, why a 7.1 amplifier can display 7.1 source (as seen in manual) but it has no hdmi input?

Does the Denon have 7.1 analog (RCA) inputs at the back? It should detect it (2) and display the source under "ANA." only.
