Mai and Oliver are prime candidates for first-to-worst. It’s just the first leg and they’re already hit by killer fatigue? Granted, it really looked liked a gruelling leg. And they seem to have this primadonna-personal assistant vibe going.
I like Henry and Bernie, and I’ll be rooting for them. I’m always partial to the brother-sister teams. And they seem very competitive. They were late getting to the bus depot but still managed to finish ahead of the other teams. And they were the first to down the bugs right? Uggh I hate bugs. If I were in this race, I would have gone home already. But not before protesting, “Hey! I signed up for Amazing Race, not Survivor!”
A couple of buddies from Singapore are the self-proclaimed funny guys. They’re normally the ones who are anything but…
The team of Geoff and Tisha looks like they’ll get far in this race. Geoff strikes me as a no-nonsense take charge guy. And I like the way he attacked those bugs. No hesitation whatsoever. But in the end though, it was stupid of them to settle the race on rock-paper-scissors. Guys, there’s gracious and there’s too gracious it might cost you the race. Still no read on Tisha though. She was last seen applying make-up before pounding them rice patties.
One of the beauty queens is named Pailin. No relation.
And is Fuzzie the Fuzzy One? Honestly when I first saw her/him I couldn’t tell if he/she was a she/he. Heehee.
Overall, a great start to a promising edition.
