Im in the process of building my dedicated HT. After months of research and gathering of my gears here is what I have ended up with.

Good choice of equipment!

That's a big room. You will need big speakers and big amps ... including maybe 2 big subs.

You might want to consider having a darker background in the area of your screen. It will improve the contrast ratio.

Be careful also about the placement of the projector. Don't put it at the farthest distance nor at the nearest. Put it somewhere in between, but probably closer to the nearest distance. As you go nearer, light output increases. As you go farther, contrast ratio increases. Its a balance.

Some more random thoughts:

I suppose you've planned out your equipment rack. Its very important. It should be well-ventilated and have easy access to the rear. Mount your AVR at the most accessible position because it will have the most cables.

Make sure that your power cables don't run parallel with your AV cables, else you may have EMI. If they must cross, make sure that they are perpendicular.

Provide a separate circuit breaker.

Make sure you have a good big AVR (servo-controlled) and a line conditioner.

Your pj is very good but it will need to be professionally calibrated to get the most out of it.

I got it from fry's electronics when I went to the states last year. medyo mahal for a casing, pero i figured at least i have it na instead of getting other casings and end up getting one eventually.

it was around  $250



streetsmart-

-thanks i'll talk to the electrician and make sure he installs a 30A breaker.
-you are right... i planned the rack in such a way that i have easy access to the rear and it also has crossflow fans to provide noiseless circulation.
-meron na din akong line conditioner na napili pero di ko pa nabibilli.  :-[
-im thinking of getting a servo controlled AVR pero di ko pa alam kung ilan watts ang ideal to run everything.

 Sir you may want to consider placing your pj sa roof? :) :D ceiling lang pwede na. joke This room is big,can easily fit 2rowsx4seats arrangement. Since wala ka pa speakers ,you may want to consider either wall or ceiling mounted types to free you from floor clutters and may give you that extra space for dedicated audio speakers  in case you want it in the future :) Good luck Sir and happy building :)
