Ask ko lang, nag uupscale din ba to ng mga divx/avi files burned on dvd or ung dvd format lang talaga na movie ang na uupscale nya?

Yes, it also upscales divx/avi files or any file that are supported by the player.

sir, have you tried playing a 720p divx file with this player? Let's say convert a 720p MKV into divx, can this play it?

DivX HD is not supported.

Tanong lang mga peeps. I've read somewhere here about the promac hdmi player looking exactly the same as the extreme hdmi player (except that the promac is black and the extreme is silver) which happens to be out of stock in the market for a long time now. I think someone even suggested that they're actually the same except for the branding. i've read a lot of praises for the extreme brand but not the same for the promac. My question is has anyone tried both players and let me know if they are really the same in terms of pq and other features? I am a student and my budget is tight but I dont wanna be buying the promac if it aint equal to the extreme player. Thanks a lot!

After reading the mostly favorable reviews here, I finally went out and bought myself an Xtreme DVD player (the silver one) to replace my ailing 3-year old Nextbase. The unit cost me about P 2.5k at SM Appliances - Marikina.

I noticed that the Xtreme's build quality leaves much to be desired. We opened 3 sealed units and all of them had minor body scratches and leftover bits of extruded plastic. Also, the unit I took home has a sticky and stubborn open/close button on the unit. Sometimes the remocon buttons need some emphatic pressing to get a response. Also, the remocon's effective angle seems to be quite narrow.

On a positive note, the video quality is quite good even for component connections (better than my Nextbase in fact). And the USB jack is a great feature that I took advantage of immediately.

^ Sad to say, I no longer use my Xtreme dvd player after the remote control died on me several months ago. Corrosion on the battery terminals appears to be the culprit.

hindi ba gagana ang universal remote control? nasira na pensonic ko and i wanted an xtreme hdmi player for my mom's room pero panay midi player na ang meron sa SM e hindi ko naman kailangan ng midi player...ano kaya magandang kapalit? nextbase daw nag-ha-hang sa mga jack sparrow dvds.
