^ Try Fox DVD's
The Fox titles I tested were I-Robot, Empire Strikes Back, Road to Perdition, Ice Age.
I also tried Disney DVD's Incredibles & Lion King also refuse to be upscaled.
It's not naman world ending but still.........
I have both the silver and black Xtreme DVD Player.
I tried the following titles;
R3: I-Robot, Revenge Of The Sith,The Simpsons & Monsters Inc.
R1: Ice Age, Lion King Special Edition, Empire Strikes Back & The Incredibles
I included Revenge of the Sith,The Simpsons & Monsters Inc, since I want to balance the R3 & R1 tested, besdides I could not locate where my Ice Age R3 Extreme Edition,and my Ice Age was the older 2 discs version in immaculate white packaging.
These are my findings;
1) The HD Content protected warning did emerge,and the grid line were observed, however, after a pause of 2-3 seconds, the movies did play on my black Xtreme.
2) The same findings occurred with the silver model, however, it had much difficulty with the R1 Incredibles, in whihc it would stop,however, after pressing play a couple of times, it did play.
3) On my older DVDs, like The Empire Strikes Back(Included in the R1 Star Wars Boxset) and Ice Age it played flawlessly.
4) Play delay was noted only with The Simpsons, I-Robot & The Incredibles.
These are my findings, I don't know if I'm just lucky that my players' HD protection have been programmed to bypass the so called AAC protection.
Help naman i tried connecting the coax to my receiver so i could decode Dolby Digital 5.1 or DTS pero laging Pro logic pa din ang nilalabas is there a problem with my settings ?
Nothing wrong with your settings, I don't know where I posted this irritating flaw of our Xtreme. It's one of it's pitfalls, that it was programmed to auto play in the LPCM mode, and the only way to enjoy the DD or DTS audio, is while on play, go to the settings menu,and choose the RAW choice in the digital audio out,and you'll be able to appreciate your digital audio.
Happy watching and listening.
