give it up, would have been better if you'd just shut your mouth in the first place since you were the one who apparently wanted to ripoff Western Digital. maybe if you stop responding altogether, maybe then i'll leave you alone. sorry but i just hate hypocrites. and if you haven't noticed, i'm trying my hardest to contribute to this forum, maybe you should do the same. a simple "my bad" or "my mistake" would have been enough, but no hehe. oh well....to all, sorry for the OT
Hello, I need help regarding DTS audio decoding. We have this WDTV player but we have no LCD TV yet. I have MKVs with DTS audio on them and so it doesn't play audio using the composite cables. We're planning to upgrade to an LCD but I'm not very familiar with the new tech. - Would my video with DTS audio play when I use an HDMI cable alone to the LCD?- Or do I need an optical audio cable? Do LCD TVs generally have optical in?- Some say I need a DTS-encoder receiver... what is it? Can you give local examples/recommendations so that we can purchase it along with the TV?
Sirs,Newbie here.I'm still planning to purchase this product. Can I directly connect this to my z5500 using optical cable?TIA.
Similar question.. Regarding the DTS decoding, does my Logitech Z5500 supports this stuff? Most of my MKV files are DTS.

ang liit nung WD TV Mini Media Player kaso walang support for mkv files ...
does this "mini" really not have an hdmi output? but i noticed that this one plays *.vob. Yung originalba na WDTV hindi kaya play ang *.vob files?
it can play vob files ripped from dvd...
It plays .vob files but does not recognize .ifo which means it pretty much sucks for playing your DVD backups as you won't have your DVD menu structure.
what I did.. I converted the whole movie into single Vob file... if you're after the menus better load your dvd to the player... or covert to MKV w/ menu option...
