I haven't used my Samsung BD-P1500 since I got the Panasonic DMP-BDT110 last April. Decided to give it some action last Friday. To my dismay, it won't play any of the BDs it used to play prior to it's hibernation. Tried a hard reset, still no go. Inserted a USB, still won't play any BD. Out of desperation, I played some audio CDs & DVDs, no problem. After that I tried the BDs, this time it played. The next day, same thing. Seems it won't play any BD unless you warm it up by playing CDs or DVDs first. Strange or maybe mine is on the verge of conking out.

Maybe i should try my old toshiba bdx2500 as well, when i got the samsung bd-e5300, i haven't used my toshiba since the samsung loads faster.

Pioneer BDP-140 , quite satisfied, love how it plays files from hard drives.

Hi. Have you tried playing downloaded 3d full hd files with this player? May I ask also where to get the cheapest? Listening room is selling this at 8K

Hi, Nope haven't tried 3D yet, even with a 3D Blu Ray disc

the highest one I played the file was only around 15GB-.

Also have bought it 8K(+ can't remember) at the SM Appliances.

Using my PS3 right now for BD movies due to space constraint in our room. Anyone have experience in issues with the PS3 for watching movies? Would like to know since the PS3 gets the most playing time from games and i don't want it to have issues if I continue to use it to play movies.

I've got an LG BP120 for a cheap price of $88 plus tax.
Two months after that, I bought my second PS3 (i had to leave my first in the PH).

The LG plays MKV off a disk, whether its a flash drive or a powered external drive.
Played 2 bluray discs in it, but innumerable downloaded movies already

My "Old Dog" LG BD390 (2009) still works like a charm.

2nd hand samsung bd5100.

minsan ayaw tumuloy sa main menu after ng samsung logo but kung tumuloy man at makanood ng movie bigla na lang mawawala yung display pero tuloy pa rin yung reading nya.

changed the hdmi and it solved the problem(hopefully).
