Bro, How were you able to make it play r3 dvd discs? Tested mine, also got from sir Anya and its restricted to Region 1 for DVD and Region A for BD. Thanks in advance.

wala naman akong ginawa basta nagplay naman yung nabili kong dvd kay dyerds (fifth element,kung fu hustle saka crouching tiger).yung nakuha ko kay top 20 hindi lahat ngplay (yung forrest gump saka goodfellas nagplay)

Siguro the dvd was region free. Nagtry kasi ako ulit ng several r3s pero walang gumana. Thanks anyway.

After a few BD buys from anya, sucked watching on a PC so finally jumped on a BD player and got a Egreat S900 combo

HDD sa left,

SD sa middle,

Bluray Drive sa right.

features like:
7.1 analog output
HD-MA
built-in 2D to 3D conversion (suppose to turn any playback stream to 3D)
BD Region Change via remote control

Just recently purchased a Panasonic DMP BD45 at Singapore for only SGD145.00 which translates to about 5K. Grabe mura ng mga player ngayon there are from Panasonic, Samsung and LG that sells for SGD 129 around 4.3K lang

YGPM, Egreat S900 comes in 2D version and 3D version. both equally awesome. This one even comes with an option for a 2nd firmware/ User Interface (seriously!!)

I just bought my first BD Player and its Samsung BD D5100. Apparently it's Region 3-locked for DVD, can't play my R1 DVDs, ouch! Search the net and as of today, there is no way to have this unlocked.

any reviews about this BD player??? maliban sa locked po sya? ano pa po yung pros and cons nya?
I was thinking about getting one when I bought my Samsung D550 last month... pero nag dalawang isip po ako since di naman ganun ka immediate yung need... kailangan ko lang po talaga ng stand alone BD player... which can accommodate all my needs (bluray, mkvs, etc...)

kung meron pa po kayo suggestion maliban dito sa player na ito... it would be helpful... budget ko sana is 7k-8k lang... btw... am currently using my brother's PS3 to play Blurays... hehehe...
