still have 3 rockwool left. pwede kaya mag customize na lang ng dropped/overhanged ceiling? with rockwool inside?

regarding the av rack, where can i find someone who would fabricate tempered/black glass for me?

what color do you guys suggest for the ceiling and for the tambol?

i'm planning to get 1hp panasonic split type a/c inverter series, what can you say about the unit?

my new 3 seater recliner seats. ang sarap humiga, parang ayaw ko ng umuwi!
theater seats, soon to follow. eta 60-90days. thanks nga pala sir nerveblocker for the referal.

backwall

front wall. 6" riser for the stage not shown.
i put sand beneath the plyboard for less resonance..

ceiling

the main entrance

left wall and rightwall with diy acoustic panels.

diy av rack

switch for the tv, player, av receiver, NMT, ps3, and backlight. all directly connected to the avr.

i'm open to your ideas, inputs and suggestions.

btw, no gears as of the moment.
plan to finish the room first, and then its time to shop for our new toys.

very nice couch sir! i too ordered ht seats from cosmotech way back in july last year. i was told eta 90 days...after 90 days the seats never came and they kept saying next month for the following months until i got fed up and just opted to refund my deposit last month. just something to keep in mind sir.

nice diy av rack sir! is that fixed to the wall? how do you plan on accessing the cables from behind the rack once you have all the components inside?

Love those seats sir! If I may possibly ask, how much and where? I'm currently debating with myself if I should get theater seats or a 2nd couch for my setup kasi. Parang trade off being comfortable on the couch vs. the the look and feel of real theater seats.

Can't wait for your theater to be finished, mukang malupit!

@nvektus, thanks for the warning. no worries, i have their demo unit anyways...

av rack fix to tha wall, i just need to make a little remedyo to conceal the wires.
i've placed the switch on the side, so i dont need to make saksak-bunot every time i use the HT.

just a little pindot on the swith and voila, tv/av receiver/etc turned on/off...

i'm thinking of replacing the top with black tempered glass and the front with glass...
what do you think? or should i let it as is na? no cover no cabinet?

may option pa if we wait for the next model or opt for pv80 instead.

i tried to install the ponti fabric myself... but not so good with the installation. (kulang sa batak ang fabric)
so i'll hire someone from the upholstery shop to do it for me.

update! T5 lights and pinlights...
i used 5pc 28watts and 2pcs 21watts T5, but currently there are only 6pc T5 lights.
and 8pcs 35watts pinlight.
i just need a wall light for general lighting(white light) for daily purposes.

the front wall with my DIY plasma tv made from plywood.
thats my best bet to mount the tv and adjust the dimensions of the tv rack.
at the same time, be able to wait for the next model of the plasma tv.
is it worth the wait?

formica for the wall column. installed 1/4 plywood beneath before sticking the formica.
what can you recommend for the wall light?

nice tito pepe! i think you should go with a PJ na, a dedicated HT like that will really shine with the big screen. mas mura naman sa 50" tv ang 720p/1080i PJ ngayon sir. and someone is selling glass beaded motorized or manual screens in the classifieds for a song. or if you want DIY na rin since nandyan na yung carpentero niyo sir. go for the pj!

btw, after ko matapos yung ht room, postpone muna coz start ng gawin yung overall finishing nung house.
so marami ulit free time natin to research and audition!
PJ? wala pa kasi ako na aaudition nito e. sino kaya mag ooffer sakin ng audition?
pero long term reliability, i still consider the plasma tv...
sobra na siguro sa budget if i get plasma tv and PJ.

hehehe tapos na yung painting and woodworks/carpentry e.
by monday, upholstery. then wait ko yung carpet.

kulang ko na lang, yung overhanged na ceiling and wall light.
after nun, latag na ng seats.
then shopping na ng gears!!!
