Thanks guys. Nice to play music on this system again. I think it was last March pa huling nagamit ang most of the equipments on this system, before I sold my Von Schweikert Vr5 Anni. That combination sounded so good, I hope Magico synergize as well with the rest of the system.
Coincidentally, I took a hiatus from audio (I mean playing around with equipments). I slipped on the ice and had a bad concussion last April and one of the side effects is my energy level nosedives in the afternoon, as in diretso tulog pagdating sa bahay. I am slowly recovering, but our yard and vehicles still don't get the work & attention they usually get from me (or maybe too much pesbuk
). But I was never really away from music - my second system in our living room is playing music almost all day everyday, hindi nga lang ako ang operator. My wife plays music for her auntie who is staying with us. She loves to listen to music, a good therapy for her dementia.

salamat. as Jen said, I am based in Canada (pero pusong Pinoy pa rin kaya dito sa PDVD & WS nakikisali). Most of my audio buddies and gurus are Pinoys.
Maraming Phil. based systems na much more advanced than mine, karamihan lang sa owners ay hindi na nagsi share sa forum - maybe for security purposes or they're just too busy with their lives. JackD has really good stuff like CH Precision, VSA, Techdas, Lamm and so on, in a room that's to die for. To my knowledge, a pair of $500K speakers are landing on Philippine shores soon.
The S1 is showing a lot of potential early on, a little undersized for my room that's why I augmented it with my VSA Shockwave V15. I still have to tweak the speaker placement a little bit and recalibrate the digital room correction.
