i bought this model from sir vic last november and im happy with it.

the review here is correct and the only valid complaint i have is the channeling of the tv.  i havent found any solution except to manually assign the correct channels to the correct channel numbers.

SnS, if you have the solution, please post in this thread and ill try that method.

Mahirap talaga to do the cable channeling on this Sony TV. If only Sony will make this with an only NTSC 3.58 system, it will definitely outshine other TVs in broadcast presentation, not to mention that it will be a much user friendly also. By the way, can anyone agree with me that a TV with a single system presents better broadcast quality than one with multi-system?  Send your feedback.  ;)

Oh, so theres no actual easy way to do it.  I did it by manually sorting the channels to match skycable listing.

I think the best way to do it is have your dealer do the "channeling" ;)

A bigger size is a 46" which starts at V, W, X, and Z series. The 46V400 is 12 months at P96K.

another thing SnS, related to the mixed up channels.

i noticed that you cant jump to desired channel by typing the channel number.  its not like the older sony tvs where you just type the channel number + enter and you can jump.  on this tv, you end up pressing up channel a lot of times.

Carlo777, do you have the same experience?

Called my mom today and she does not seem to understand what I was asking her to do, so I'll probably run to their place later. Not far, just a street away and can check this "switching channel" or whatever we call it thing myself.

There is a method so you don't have to manually jump from one channel to another, will call Vic about it. Seems like I forget something new everyday=) So I guess, this is no longer an issue. Will post it once I get it or somehow remember it.

Yes, at the onset it's very difficult to channel but the channel surfing has been solved.

Here is a way to direct access the channel:

Open Menu -> Choose and enter Setting -> Choose and enter Channel Set-up -> Turn-off One Digit direct
