hindi na talaga future-proof yung CRTs today, plus they're too bulky and difficult to move. LCDs are getting cheaper and cheaper so just go for one of those.
Besides a 32-inch LCD today costs about the same as a 29-inch CRT did a few years ago. And you get sharper PQ, widescreen, lower power consumption and none of the weird brightness/distortion/geometry problems inherent to CRTs and their analog nature (especially as they age).

Some Abensons still sell Samsung CRT HDTV's.  You have to look at the CRT section yourself though as asking the sales people will just get you weird looks.  Alam ko at least 29" yung mga binebenta nila.  Mahal nga lang considering nasa 20+ thou na lang ang mga magagandang 32" LCD's.

I am selling my Sony 27 inches Wide Screen TV (Surplus) for 3k only...good condition. the only problem is medyo matagal mag on 2-3 minutes. gamit ko lang ito for gaming but since nabenta ko na console ko benta ko na rin ito...

reading this thread made me think twice in disposing our sony wega 29inch. ganda pa din ng pq at sound nya. keepers pa din talaga crt as compared sa lcd  ;D
