7-3/4" H x 24" W x 14" D   .... medyo nga ano ... ok lang yan.  It crossed my mind to put the center above the TV but I think it would look funny.

thanks sir! i guess i'll use my tsi 100 for surrounds. hehe.

speaking of the size of the A6, share ko lang yung rack na nabili ko sa ace hardware.  ;D

it has adjustable layers so pwede ko sya modify to accomodate the massive A6. hehe. assuming makakabili nako. lol.

Yan na yung standard height nyan sir? Anong height?

Tanong lang mga Bro:  I have A3 as my front now.  When I replace them with the A7, can I put them in series and use the for the center?  I realize there is an impedance mismatch but putting them in series will just mean I won't be able to get their full power potential (?) but I have no intention of going anywhere near that anyway.  So it is this a terribly bad idea?

My plan is currently to use the A3 for surrounds but that would be a sad waste of the A3's true abilities.  I could sell them but why if they will work very well as a center.

A6 muna! Hehehehe...

Chief, question!

Can I use "Large" settings on the A3 and A6 and turn on the double bass option so that the Sub would still pick up the low frequency?

I noticed a fuller sound when I tested it that way, I'm just not sure if this will have any negative effects on my AVR or Speakers.

Any input on this guys?

The A6 has a 3db down point of 55 Hz and the A3 is 50 Hz. I would just set them at 80 Hz and let the sub handle the rest of the work. You can experiment setting them to the values that I mentioned and see what sounds better to you. If you set them both to large or full range, the receiver will be doing more work by trying to reproduce the low frequencies for fronts and center.

Actually, the Audyssey setup placed it on 80Hz and Small speakers.

I tried lowering to 60 Hz Crossover, but the 80Hz Crossover sounded better.
Sub is connected via RCA->LFE and knob is set to LFE mode. It's a PSW110 btw.

So setting it to Large makes the Amp work harder and consume more power? Tama ba?
Then small na lang.. lower electricity consumption.. Hahahaha..

I see no harm sa receiver as long as it's properly ventilated and not playing at full volume, if you like the sound that way then use it.. Wala naman nakalagay sa manual na masisira if you set it that way with bookshelves right. It's true that it will give your receiver a workout but matibay naman mga receivers natin.. as long as properly ventilated at walang short sa wiring then your good to go.. Ako i put in a small fan on top of my receiver to suck the heat out...

I set my A3's to large when listening to music with sub turn off by the way... Also do that when listening to music running 4 channel stereo so my A1's are also set to large and sub still off... So far i'm lovin it....

Correct pero minsan we are curious what the A3's can do he he he... so bigay natin lahat sa kanya he he he...And the result is good right.. like what you said setting them to large make their sound fuller...

Dont be afraid as long as di mo pag ooverheat ang amp at walang short circuit na mangyayari... Matibay ang mga receivers natin that's why they are expensive....HIndi sya CDRking  :)
