Naku father...not my line of work po. I was just a parishioner who ended up getting assigned sa church audio.
And ended up meeting people who are in the acoustic treatment business...

In turn, I enjoy all the free lessons on acoustics and materials being used out there...

while our DSL provider was down, i did some repair for my SF Concertino...




i replaced the damaged speaker plastic terminals with plexiglass

the aikido and MF X-A50 monoblocks made them sing very well.
the aikido is really amazing...

Kung hindi pa upgraded and Tinos ninyo, maybe it is about time to consider that. I had these speakers previously and they really improved when the tweeter crossover caps was changes to (at least) Mundorf Supreme. It was a night and day difference based on my experience.

di pa upgraded itong tinos... had these since 1999.
ito yung sinasabi ko syo about the woofer

nung buksan ko to check the caps nasira ko yung terminals kaya
napalitan ko nung plexiglass.

i will try to consider your suggestions... pero mas gusto ko yung tinda mo
wala lang pambili

thanks... naisipan ko lang isalang ulit at i-repair yung nasira ng malikot
kong kamay
the last time i was using them di ko gusto tunog with ***** tube preamp
but with the aikido ganda ganda pala.

later i will try edwin's suggestions... hmmmm.

nakita ko nga yung minima by the time na nagpapahanap ako syo ng woofer nito
at about to grab them but unfortunately nagastahan ko yung kariton ko... sayang.
di kasi tumama sa lotto... 188M.

By the way, it is a bit tricky to replace the crossover capacitor as the whole croossover is dipped in black tar. Ingat lang sa pagtanggal

You could also replace the internal cables to those UPOCC type.

what is the easiest way to remove those covers?
pwede bang painitan yun ng hair blower para lumambot?

Mas mahirap para sa akin tanggalin ito pag ininitan dahil lalong madikit/malagkit. Just remove the tar slowly at room temperature.

when I was on the other side of engineering, this is what I do when removing tar... increase temp using hot air blower then apply wd40 while warm and sticky and use lint free cloth, lots of cloth. 


then spa the whole board to clean it... hth...
