Tanong lang bakit ang SD reception ng channel 2, studio 23, gma7, gmanews tv hindi ganon kalinaw? Pero yung tv5 and the rest ok naman ang reception.

Ganon ba dapat iyon porke kalaban mo na network eh dapat malabo ang kanila? D ba dapat same lang ang reception ng tv5, gma7, at abs2. Ok lang na malabo sa mga govt channels walang budget para mag-upgrade ng equipment.

Well according to Gozon (GMA head honcho), his group will sell 100% stake at GMA for 100 billion. Which is waaayyyy overpriced..the initial offer of MVP's group to acquire 100% stake at GMA was at 48 billion only

Malinaw na ang Channel 7 sa SkyCable, same goes with GMA News TV, TV5 and AksyonTV.

Yep, malinaw na.... Sa ibang area.
Pero gma7 does not let their guards down, kaya meron pa rin advisory or notice sa news program nila para dun sa mga recurrring issue.

OT na tayo. Hehe

Back to topic, sana mag digital broadcast na lahat ng network para wala na complain sa labo ng feed.
Kasi garbage in, garbage out lang naman sa satellite feed. Kung ano bigay ng network, yun din i broadcast ni cignal sa subscribers.

Bro mas ok kung tatawag ka muna sa Cignal Hotline para malaman mo kung meron kababayaran. Yun sa akin kasi sinabi ng cignal partner kung na inform daw ako na meron service charge na P600  at kung sira daw yun LNB P300 sabi ko sa kanila na wala daw ako babayran sabi ng cignal pero nag insist pa din na meron daw pero tumawag ako uli sa cignal at nag note sila na wala ako babayaran kahit  na Jan 2011 pa yun account ko sa kanila dahil under lease plan (P1290) ako.

I recently availed of the Cignal Prepaid HD Plan 590 via Dish Enterprises.
In only three (3) weeks of service, I encountered two (2) problems already:

- Error message of "Please insert SIM card" even if the card is inserted
*Took 6 days before service was restored (eventually Dish Enterprises replaced Receiver Box)

- No channels/signal being received in HDMI mode, despite Receiver (replacement one that was provided) having Power
*Took 3 days before service was restored (advice of technician was to never turn OFF the Receiver Box via the remote.  If turning OFF, just unplug it from the wall socket)

Has anybody experienced these problems, sirs?  If so, what did you do to have the problem resolved?  Did you contact Cignal directly, or did you contact the vendor where you got your Prepaid/Postpaid account?

All after sales support should be reported direct to Cignal Hotline, specially units still under warranty.
Your box may need replacement again. anything that is not part of the functionality of a unit even turning off thru unplugging from wall outlet is considered a defect.

Dish Enterprise? is it a legit Cignal Dealer?

Your box may need replacement again. anything that is not part of the functionality of a unit even turning off thru unplugging from wall outlet is considered a defect.

Dish Enterprise? is it a legit Cignal Dealer?

I saw them at Sulit, and went to their site: http://www.dish.com.ph/subscription.php
I got convinced kasi about their customer service-orientedness, because they have a guarantee that the installer will not leave the house until the Cignal reception is at optimum level.  They cited instances wherein Cignal Prepaid subscribers pick up the package, or gets the package via delivery, and the installation will be half-hearted (basta lang ma-install).

Luckily, they (Dish Enterprises) also gave me a rebate (PhP20 each day I didn't get service) on my next reload.
Next time (I hope there isn't a next time anymore), I will contact Cignal directly.  Thanks for the advice. :)

beware of these type of sellers/installers

they are easy to deal with prior and after installation.
once subs encounter issues like LNB, remote and others... they have all the alibi.
worst, when this subs complain to cignal.. they will refer you to the area dealer, then you'll get charged for a service fee because your unit was installed not by their authorized installer.

for your convenience, get it direct from Cignal
the savings you get from outside sources may not be okay in the long run.

imagine if, it was installed today and the unit failed the next day and you cannot get it replaced?

Yesterday late afternoon my signal connection was erratic. Some channels were in total blackout. I tried turning the digi box on and off, plugged and unplugged to no avail. I panicked. Then I remembered my wife was doing her gardening that morning so I asked her kung me napansin sya sa disc kse walang signal. Dali dali syang lumabas at moments after me signal na. Sabi nya kasalanan nya ginawa nyang sampayan at tinambak sa harap ng disc yung mga pinutol da dahon dahon! Haaay!

They have a replacement warranty, and thank God they stuck with that warrantt & replaced my receiver.. but yeah, from now on, I will deal directly with Cignal. Thanks for the advice.

Dumaan kami sa CIGNAL office sa antipolo paadvice naman kung ang pinakagandang plan if the plan 990 for postpaid? Nung check ko kasi parang yun na yung pinakamaganda na plan compare sa mga mas mataas na plan.  ;) ;)

All my HD channels are gone, I live in San Juan area. Called customer support and I was told its due to the weather and I should monitor in the next 24 hours. Was just wondering are there any PDVD members in San Juan experiencing the same thing? TIA
