minsan sir pati remote pinapatong ko... pag grabe na ang antok  ;D

2nd design ko na po ito, yung una, sakit sa binti, dami kong pasa... kaya naisip ko lagyan ng foam and leather cover...

from my previous bedroom in Marikina, this is my 1st design, the potentially more painful bed...  :P

The praise is much appreciated sir  ;)  admittedly, the idea for the lights under the bed came from an interior desinger friend of mine.  The rest of the bed had been in my head for some time already and i just decided to have one made so as to get exactly what i had in mind.  wanted to make the headboard more "theater seat"-influenced but my interior designer friend shot that idea down pretty quickly...  ;D

naku sir, kung alam nyo lang kung gano kahirap bumangon, lalo na when my ps3 controller and harmony remote are beside me when i wake up =p

Here are the current upgrades. ;)

A Audio Gen2 Velodyne 7 channel setup. ;D  (floorstanders and CENTER speaker  ;D with spikes, 4 bookshelves with custom speaker brackets)



























split my desk into two to create more space and have an audio rack (currently empty) ready for additional SARS infections. ::)





Added a superpro dac 707 to process my flac and ape files from my laptop...











Lastly,  added some DIY bass traps and acoustic panels...











to be continued... awaiting a "monstrous" bass upgrade... ;D

The room seems to be filled up just right, it doesn't seem as spacious as before, only because my stuff got bigger. :D  i also allotted an audio rack for some incoming hardware (amps to power the center and surrounds, and possibly a tube pre amp for the fronts...)

I basically have the same number of speakers, yun nga lang, kumbaga si super mario sila, kumain ng mushroom at lumaki nang todo. ;D

the halimaw fits perfectly into the only space i could put it, parang destined talaga hehe.

admittedly  i am still a relative newbie at this, and i am totally grateful sa lahat ng mga may pasensyang nakukulit ko for advice like mike c, macdon, anthony(diy_master), doc fer, and jojod818. ;D

anytime anyone feels like dropping by my place in pasig to check out the equipment, just let me know and i'm sure we could figure something out. ;) 

now here's the tricky part... tweaking the settings to optimal levels. :-X

Just remember - alalay lang muna sa gain.
Watch various films with good LFE & adjust it to a comfortable standard - set it & forget it ;)

But before anything else, do perform a calibration test using a SPL meter - MikeC has got you covered on that ;)
