The Boy In The Striped Pyjamas

I liked this movie.

Saw it kanina sa Astro. Was surprised to find out na may R3 release pala 'to. I think the price is Php750. The slipcase looks nice naman. But has anyone bought a copy? How is it?

By all indications, the local release will mirror the R1 (except the spelling - pajamas in R1).  It's probably a worthy purchase if you like the movie.  I'll probably get this one before the weekend is over.  Will post my impressions then...

Pajamas is the American spelling, as far as I know. You're not the only one to ask though, they also talk about it here: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0914798/board/nest/132237113?p=1

Good enough movie. Also saw the R3 DVD yesterday & I think the slipcase art looks very nice.

DVD9.  It is identical to R1.  PQ seems a bit soft but as stated in DVDTalk's review, it might be an artistic choice. 

Slipcase is really nice, but as it is a box, the flap will crease the when you open it.

Saw this one in Astro last weekend and was tempted to get one, kaya lang postponed it muna not until I hear something from fellow PinoyDVDs  ;D.

the film merited good reviews in amazon. yes, ganda nga ng box. really caught my eye din when i fist saw it. checked it again yesterday. napansin ko, it was a viva video release. ok lang ba? although among the viva video releases (the reader, milk, etc.), pyjamas has the most tasteful packaging. mukhang imported e.

As had been reported a million times, mosr Fox and Disney releases from Viva are safe buys.  I have listed the Viva titles to avoid in this thread. 

As I posted above, this is a DVD9 Imported disc.
