Post by: at_sunset_blvd on Sep 30, 2012 at 04:04 PM: I have Patricia Barber's Modern Cool in BD format, for me it sounds weird, CDs & the 2 channel stereo dedicated amps (whether integrated or separates) are the real thing for pure audio reproduction. Just my 2 cents ;)

I like to listen using dts-hdma setting same with my other concert bds without the video. If you're more into stereo then you can probably skip this type of media.

yes, they are region free - just like the CDs..
