How much power do the Planets need?
The Planets need as little as 10 watts to sing. If you're familiar with speaker sensitivity, you may ask yourself how this is possible with the Planets' rated sensitivity of 85dB. The reason is that all omni speakers measure differently from traditional speakers. Omnis disperse the sound in a 360 degree pattern. So where the studio measurement microphone won't pick up this omni information, your ears will. This means that where a traditional speaker with a sensitivity of 85dB would require serious amounts of power to come alive, the Planets need as little as 10 watts. The Planet drivers, if measured facing forward, would rate in the low to mid 90s, thus revealing their true high efficiency. Of course, if you have any questions about whether an amplifier of yours will work with the Planets, don't hesitate to contact us.

Well, you can always try ;D Pero suggest ko rin na you pair it up with a classA amplification to properly appreciate those expensive speakers.

so malamang pang audio lang to sir? kasi kung sa HT mo i play baka ma defeat yung purpose ng rear speakers..

You can use this for HT too minus the center channel so mas tipid ;D ;D ;D Kidding aside just turn off the center channel on your receiver. You only need a total of 4 speakers 8) 8)

I dont think the amp is one of ours but with Cayin you can custom paint the trannies to whatever color you want for a small fee and some waiting time.

have auditioned these speakers with sir ganicru. ganda tumunog using the Rotel RA04 pa lang. Can you imagine how these would sing on a more expensive amps? highly recommended for audiophiles. :)

Thanks for the heads up sir. Markus Duevel is a genius, He did not copy the conventional speaker but instead he designed a horn loaded omni-directional speaker, and the result? Ang ganda!!! Big soundstage and bigger sweet spot :) :) :) Now you dont have to sit in the middle of you sofa ;)

Eto na yong mga speakers na hindi mo na kailangan ng center speaker. Sooner or later the HT set-up will be using 2 speakers only. Watch out year 2012.

How about fans of horn speakers? Markus Duevel is a horn lover, he noticed that sweet spot of horn speaker is very narrow. That's why he design a Horn Loaded Omni Speakers :) This guys is a genius and thinks outside the box. He stayed-away from conventional designs and developed his own design.
