CBS released its official synopsis for Person of Interest, an upcoming crime thriller series for this Fall:
PERSON OF INTEREST stars Jim Caviezel, Emmy Award winner Michael Emerson and Academy Award nominee Taraji P. Henson in a crime thriller about a presumed dead former-CIA agent who teams up with a mysterious billionaire to prevent violent crimes by using their own brand of vigilante justice. Reese's (Caviezel) special training in covert operations appeals to Finch (Emerson), a software genius who invented a program that uses pattern recognition to identify people about to be involved in violent crimes.
Using state-of-the-art surveillance technology, the two work outside of the law using Reese's adept skills and Finch's unlimited wealth to unravel the mystery of the person of interest and stop the crime before it happens. Reese's actions catch the attention of the NYPD, including homicide detective Carter (Henson), and Fusco (Kevin Chapman), a cop who Reese uses to his advantage. With infinite crimes to investigate, Reese and Finch find that the right person, with the right information, at the right time, can change everything. Emmy Award winners J.J. Abrams and Bryan Burk (Lost), Academy Award nominee Jonathan Nolan (Memento), David Semel (Heroes) and Greg Plageman (Cold Case) are the executive producers for Warner Bros. Television.

Looks very interesting--Ben Linus with Jesus Christ & Benjamin Button's mom! ;D

-
episode 1 is out already.. it's good.. the tone actually reminds me of the Bourne series.. not much screen time yet for Taraji P. Henson, but Jesus Christ and Ben Linus work well together.. this is the 2nd new show I'm actually going to follow this season..
-
will follow this series!
-
Saw the pilot earlier--it was very good, somewhat like Minority Report and Eagle Eye meets The Equalizer, except that there are less gadgets and the "clients" have no idea they're being watched.
Ben Linus can do no wrong every time he's onscreen, heh. Jesus maybe needs to put on a disguise (his homeless person look, perhaps) every time he walks on the street carrying a huge gun, as pretty soon everyone will recognize him. But I liked the fact that he avoided killing just anyone with his shots, which were mostly leg and knee shots, and only targeted the ones who deserved it.
Nolan and Abrams delivered in the pilot, effectively setting up the premise--consider me hooked.
-
Happy with pilots ive seen so far...this and homeland...
-
Loved the pilot. James Caviezel moves, sounds and talks like Batman....cool!!!
-
This show is growing on me, this after seeing the best episode..the 5th....Vigilante show feels like Nolan's Batman to me. The wheels of Reese operations grew on the last episode.... A judge joins the dirty cop..as accomplices.
-
This actually reminds me of the Batman dynamic. Jesus is Bruce and Linus is Alfred. I just kept thinking "Jesus Christ would make a great Batman..." and he's a vigilante who works in the background employing seedy contacts, as well.
Batman vibe notwithstanding, I'm hooked on this show. Loved the first 4 episodes I've seen so far.

Fifth was very good. No stale part...action picked up too...reminded me of Bourne-style moves.

love this series! can't wait for ep6.

I think that shouldn't be taken as a compliment, hehe ;D There are no terrible shaky-cam action sequences and action-for-action's-sake in this series, yet.

Was referring to Reese's fighting style

Was referring to Reese's fighting style
He is like Batman without the cape and mask...
-
EP6 might be the best episode for me yet. Hoping that Paige Turco is a recurring character. Great chemistry with Jim Caviezel.
-
Michael Emerson. Jim Caviezel. Taraji P. Henson. Now Enrico Colantoni. That's excellent casting.
-
Amy Acker as Root is brilliant casting. I loved the first 2 episodes of season 2. It gave us a back story on Finch and the machine. It also set up the new season nicely. I especially liked the reference to Flowers for Algernon in the latest episode. Given the back story on the season premiere, it could be a foreshadowing for the machine.
-
Root has got to be one if not the hottest villain on US television right now!
started the 2nd season very well, haven't watched ep 2.
-
just started this season 1 yesterday.. it is interesting..

very interesting sir.
im thinking, they might really be doing it there in NY.
watching every man's next move.
-
This time it's "Alfred" who's the billionaire! ;D

i agree with the watching.. but minus the helping of the irrelevant....

sir do you think, its best for Mr Reese to just leave the irrelevants?
in real world kase, its like altering the future di po ba?

if it was me and i have the skills and capabilities, id do the same..i dont think it has something to do with the future..its more about helping the people in danger... i wouldnt sleep well knowing that i had the power to stop something from happening and i let it happen...

parang ganyan din story pero nasa newspaper naman

i guess you're right. if it would make things better then why not prevent the "bad things" from happening.
regarding sa paglabas ng numbers, yun bang lumalabas eh, yun yung pinaka-dangerous that needs immediate
response from Mr Reese? if i remember it right may work board si Finch on the earlier episodes na may photos of victims/suspects with their corresponding numbers. or its just random number of irrelevants? regardless if it needs immediate help or not.

nakita ko na yata yan dati sir pero di ko sinubaybayan.
ngayon lang ako medyo nahilig sa series dahil sa aking kabiyak. :D

parang pagkaintindi ko is, yung pinaka soonest na mangyayari ay yung ilalabas ng computer.. kumbaga, the more latest irrelevant threat that needs to be addressed immediately...

i've been watching this since day one, but i still don't know the meaning of H.R. :)
also, is elias not part of H.R.?

Ako rin. I can't remember if the acronym was ever spelled out but, it seems to just allude to the normal "Human Resources" of any company. In this case, the system by which the police chooses which corrupt cops get to be included in their "inner circle."
No, Elias is not part of HR. He has his own gang group.
-
^ pero hindi pa din nahuhuli head of HR no?
-
nope, but the last episode revealed who the head is.
-
lots of love in s02ep08
-
I'm really hoping they'd bring back Sarah Shahi in Season 3. Shaw and Reese are fun to watch together.
I really love the casting they've been doing in this show with regard to the recurring characters. Amy Acker, Enrico Colantoni, Sarah Shahi, Paige Turco, Boris McGiver and even Ken Leung.

Amy Acker, Paige Turco, Sarah Shahi and Ken Leung!
Season 2's last episode is tonight!
-
there were excellent moments in season 2 kaso (personally) mixed with really weak episodes and feeling ko yun ibang episodes filler lang talaga.....babalik yun si shaw, tingin ko they'll split up next season, reese will (probably) not appear in all episodes sa season 3
-
pangit na ng person of interest this season.
comic relief na si shaw na pilit. this show is supposed to be gritty. they need to remove shaw.
-
crush ko si Sarah Shahi and Amy Acker :)
-
I love this guy:

This show still rocks--Shaw and Root are a good addition to the cast; and I always like how they juggle their supporting cast and occasional assets (Zoe, Leon) into the storylines.
Fans are currently divided with Shaw, but I think that Finch and Reese really need all the help they can, so she serves a purpose.
-
Excellent episode tonight, for both the plot and Shaw's character.
-
^Agree--it was a fantastic episode, and in 43 minutes delivered tons of character development for both Carter and Shaw. The writing on this show has been consistently good, and I always like how they juggle their growing supporting cast, unlike some shows with spys that treat their characters and audience like children *coughagentsofshieldcough*
This episode just became the highest-rated episode of the season, and truly deserved it. 8)
-
excellent start for the 3-episode November sweeps event, but the way CBS keeps plugging this arc, it looks like someone is going to die--hope they don't kill off Carter or Fusco. :(

You got it right..... I hate that they killed off Carter. But the episodes preceeding this one, Carter has really abandoned her career as a police officer. And Harold already has 2 operatives in the shadows. Plus Fusco being a detective serves them better eventhough Carter made detective again. Baka redundant na.
-
This is one of those times that I didn't like being right--dammit! :(
Next week's conclusion should be interesting, with everyone united (yes, including Root) as a unit of vengeance.
-
Wow action packed episode 9!!! pero kakalungkot din sa huli :(
-
One of the best but saddest episodes so far
-
The highs and lows of Episode 9. Tsk.
-
Akala ko nga.... home free na! ;D
-
Nag-improve ba ang acting sa later part ng season 1? Late to the party but I really feel that acting on the 1st few episodes I have seen is somewhat disappointing. Delivery of the lines is almost comical na parang nagbabasa lang especially Reese. Even scenes that are supposed to have suspense moments appears dull because the actors themselves don't exude the intensity they are supposed to portray.
-
That last scene was very satisfying for me. Exactly how I would have wanted it to end.
-
^Same here--I was actually hoping it would happen, and it did, heh ;D

Everyone's acting is great on this show. Reese is supposed to be a man of few words and often uses snappy one-liners, particularly towards the bad guys--he's actually Batman without the costume.
What makes this show awesome for me is the way bits of humor are integrated throughout, whether it's b!tchy comments from Fusco or a subtle fistbump between Reese and Carter, yet these don't detract from the situation and only remind us that these characters are only human.

-
^Same here--I was actually hoping it would happen, and it did, heh ;D
For me it was more on the who. I've always wanted Elias (or his man) to be the one to finish off Simmons.
And how about that opening? The entire Johnny Cash cover of Hurt playing over the scenes of the aftermath of Carter's death. Perfect.
-
he's actually Batman without the costume.
Just superimpose the characters from the comics here and you have Batman: The Live Action series.
Batman -> Reece
Alfred -> Finch
Robin -> Shaw
Det. Montoya -> Carter
Det. Bullock -> Fusco
Catwoman -> Root and/or Zoe
Gotham -> New York
Batdog -> Bear ;D
-
I take back what I said. I've been watching this straight for the past few days and Reese is indeed just like he is supposed to. And once you get used to it, there are rare gems in the scenes including quotes that my wife enjoys. Halfway through S2 now. :)
One of the very few TV series that I've seen without using nudity and too much violence as a marketing ploy.
-
Me and my wife are officially hooked. Started Season 1 a few days ago and it's one of those series we always look forward to watch.
-
Super dooper hooked! Midway Season 2 already...
-
I'm gonna miss Carter...
and Bear needs a vest. ;D
-
ep 12 na!
-
amazing episode, even more so with the tech details--before and after Root's torture, the show was actually broadcasting Morse Code at a frequency that Root mentioned, a frequency that old people can't hear. Someone actually decoded the transmissions (Machine's dialogue in Morse Code is in Courier all caps):
before Root's ear bone was sliced:
"SORRY"
during Root's conversation with Control:
"INCREASED PERSPIRATION. HEART RATE AND BREATHING ELEVATED. INDICATIVE OF FEAR."
Root: "You're scared of me."
"2 OCLOCK. 2007 ANTERIOR CRUCIATE LIGAMENT TORN. SURGICAL REPAIR PARTIAL SUCCESS. 2010 PHYSICAL THERAPY DISCONTINUED AGAINST DOCTORS ADVICE."
Root: "All these guards watching... by the way, that one has a bum knee."
and right before Root jumps on Control:
"8 OCLOCK."

I was hearing the beeps (naks! bata pa... :D ) right at the moment the phone was brought in. Was wondering why Control wasn't acknowledging it.
-
it's kinda annoying to hear Morse Code at an unusual frequency, I actually missed it but only heard it when Root mentioned it so I had to rewind ;D
here's a clip of the last episode with frequency lowered...

im 30 and i dont hear anything. lol

the hd version is more promising but still I had to try hard to hear it...

yup, it returns February 4.

thanks, kaya pala walang updates, akala ko pa naman meron ngayon lalabas na episode. nakakainip naman maghintay...
yun Intelligence naman 3 episodes pa lang baka mabitin na naman ako
-
ang tagal naman ng break!!!
-
ok na mga sir yong Episode 15 "Last Call" may mga mkv version na☺ mukhang mabagsik na si Harold dito he he he.. nood nyo na mga brods...
-
sana regular weekly na sila...
-
Most recent episode (ep. 16, "RAM") was fantastic, and a brilliant example of how to effectively use flashback for an entire episode. This show never fails to surprise, right from the opening credits, LOL.
Finally, we got to see the origin of the laptop, with some familiar faces...and how they all tie-in together into the present. Number of the week was none other than Joseph Mazzello, who was Tim in Jurassic Park.
Root seems to be gathering her own army of hackers to protect the machine (Casey this episode, plus another one shown in a previous episode)
-
i agree... a nicely done back-story episode :)
-
I was surprised to see Annie Parisse again, hope to see more of her.
-
On break na naman! Waaah!
-
On break na naman! Waaah!
Sir Jojo, not on break talaga. but yeah, skipped this week. Season 3 episode 17 will air on March 19 and every week after that until april 2 for episode 20.
Episode 21 is probably the season ender and does not have an air date yet.

It's so hard waiting when you're addicted to a series...

Also a fan of Mr. Reese and Finch here....
I must admit that during the start of the series, we we're only a fan of Mr. Reese, but Finch grew on us too, there's an equally mysterious element behind this character and his nerdy funny moments, coupled with his facial expression just nails it all.
-

very well said sir....hope may season 4 :)
-
very well said sir....hope may season 4 :)
Oh I hope so! They should have a season 4, so many things to explore and answer pa eh. At sana madami pa flashback episodes with Annie Parisse... ;D
-
wala pa ba news to renew for 4th season? isn't it a bit late na?
-
Formality na lang yung announcement but they're as good as renewed already. It's a critics and ratings hit so no way CBS is cancelling that. They have 23 episodes this season so that brings them 1 season closer to the ideal minimum of episodes for syndication.
-
Yan ang good news... I don't think I can take it if they cancel the series... ;D
-

agree, bro! especially after watching the last episode :)
-
Wow, based sa mga nababasa ko mukang ayos tong series na to ah.

agree, bro! especially after watching the last episode :)
Di ko nga alam bro kung padagadg sa sakit ng ulo ni Finch yun last scene ng last episode... ;D
-

It's not only that. Mas reckless, mas conceited akala mo alam lahat. Overconfident, bilib masyado sa sarili. Tapos mahilig sumugod ng walang plano. Bahala na dumiskarte. ;D
Most of all.... too serious. Doesn't have Reese's sense of humor and hilarious one-liners. ;D
-
May itsura yun babae save ni Dillinger ah... :D

March 18 na!!! 8)

the machine knows it all but still unable to prevent the rise of samaritan

another awesome episode, very appropriately titled "/ (root path)"

she must be the next number...
-
Fusco is hilarious.
...and I really hate that Greer...was hoping that Root would order Bear to tear out Greer's throat. Sadly, that didn't happen.
-
Huwag kang kumagat Root!
-
tagal ng next episode... :D
-
another great episode; it's amazing how they effectively mix bits of humor into an otherwise grim situation in most episodes--Finch's reactions to Fusco's comments and Shaw's rage on seeing her high school yearbook photo were priceless, LOL ;D
...with Northern Lights shut down, looks like the Machine has tasked Root with all its relevant numbers assignments:
-
Yehey! About to watch it now... just finishing up on some PMs...
-
Does the last episode mean Finch won't be getting anymore numbers?
-
Does the last episode mean Finch won't be getting anymore numbers?
no...Finch has always been getting the irrelevant numbers, while Northern Lights had the relevant numbers (threats against National Security).
-
oh ok, I missed that... so the shutting down of Northern Lights is just for the "official" government sanctioned application of Finch's machine.
btw, Vigilance is kinda annoying... :D
-
finally caught up until ep18. i was wondering how it would tie up since Reese flashback assignment in China.
-
ah so un pala un? ung shutdown ng northern lights (relevant) na-assign kay root? ung irrelevant kay finch pa din?
eh ung decima/samaritan, ano naman balak nila?
-
eh ung decima/samaritan, ano naman balak nila?
my guess:
Primary Operations (formerly Northern Lights) - reassigned to Root, who's the "Analog Interface"
Secondary Operations - still assigned to Finch & his Machine Gang
Tertiary Operations - Root's group of hackers/tech specialists chosen to deal with Decima/Samaritan
Vigilance is annoying, but right now I see them as the "Gollum" to the larger threat of "Sauron," which is Decima/Samaritan.
Also, some new assets have been activated...who are they? I think Casey is one of them, plus the hackers of Root's group. And Hersh, who's formerly from Northern Lights, might now work with Root as well.
-
Strange times, indeed. "Death Benefit" was a brilliant episode. A throwback to the early days of PoI when it was just Reese and Finch working the mission and also a perfect setup to the final act of this season. Never really saw Decima as a huge threat until now.
Oh, and more Root and Shaw together, please! ;D
-
I think Shaw is getting more beautiful in recent episodes - different hairstyle and make-up?
-
Shaw's character also seems to be starting to have a "heart"...
-
next week will be a repeat episode (Apr 22), but the final three episodes will be aired every week without breaks:
Episode # | Episode Title | Air Date |
21 | Beta | April 29 |
22 | A House Divided | May 6 |
23 (finale) | Deus Ex Machina | May 13 |
I think Shaw is getting more beautiful in recent episodes - different hairstyle and make-up?
Sarah Shahi was always a stunner, particularly in her former series, Fairly Legal...she was the reason I kept watching it, heh
(http://i.imgur.com/GoV5YlI.jpg)
-
Another superb episode...and Root levels the playing field a bit by managing to steal several servers...to enhance the Machine, or to build a new, third Machine?
-
Dang they got Finch... the gang better think of something fast...
-
dapat di na patagalin until next week.... ;D
-
nakakagigil ano? ;D
"keep yourself alive, Finch"...
exciting! 8)
-
It's amazing how this show puts emotion into a few words and facial expressions. After watching with me the latest episode, my wife who has no patience for TV series was intrigued enough to ask me to give her a copy of the previous episodes.
-
root has taken over Finch job☺ looks more interesting dahil kasama sya sa field operations nong dalawa ha ha ha...at may bago pang mga specialists whaaa...
-
another fantastic episode...the writing and characterization of this series reminds me of the Claremont X-Men issues, when the villains turn out to be the best allies of the good guys when an even worse villain appears.
can't wait for the season finale next week...hope it won't end in a cliffhanger that will make the long wait till October unbearable.
and look who's back for the finale:
lots of people missed him, me included.
-
Can't wait for the next episode! I still wonder what Vigilance wants to achieve by doing what it's doing? It ain't clear if his brother was one of the machine's relevant number. Or did I missed it?
Welcome back Bear...
-
The attention to detail this show has is very impressive. What most people would dismiss as just a bunch of graphics are actually little nuggets of information that are tied in to the story. You notice it, you dismiss it, then at the end of the episode you begin to connect the dots.
Now, that was some finale. Great acting, great music and no cop-outs.

Season finale lang.
-
Great season finale! Certainly didn't see that one coming; and for some strange reason the ending reminded me of the ending of Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, particularly about what Root said, that the plan was never to shut down Samaritan, but to survive.
The Machine's plan was brilliant, actually--by making them all now hidden in plain sight, they can be still be free to deal with the irrelevant numbers next season.
-
Season finale lang.
thank goodness... this show is one of a few that we look forward to watch every week pa naman... when will they be back?
-
Great finale. Kind of depressing, in a good way. :p

was it just the season or series finale?
can't imagine what would be next...
Oo nga, yung season finale nila was like they were expecting to get cancelled, buti na lang hindi pa.

I certainly hope not... sana may next season...

from TV Guide:
For Season 4, now that our heroes have assumed fake identities and gone into hiding, they'll have to get real jobs! "Now you've got to be Clark Kent — you've got to be the regular guy," executive producer Jonathan Nolan says. "Shaw's going to have a day job and co-workers, and so are Reese and Finch. That can be great fun and [is] also a grounded aspect of the show versus this titanic battle taking place around them."
Fortunately, Root won't let Finch & Co. stay on the sidelines forever. "Our Machine's in a lot of trouble," Nolan says. "Samaritan's the bigger, tougher kid on the block. Root is going to be key to keeping our team alive and [focusing] on the question of how they put the genie back in the bottle."

the s4 sneak peek is awesome!
-
^damn, Root and Shaw are hot! :p
-
just watched the 4th season premiere--things look dark for the Machine Gang, but the ending was great, and it looks like they're getting a new Batcave. 8)
-
Awww, John's got a fanboy. Had me laughing when he asked John, "How do you do that with your voice?" Definitely my favorite episode of the season so far.
-
watched ep 5... looks like our team is going to fight back this time...
-
Kakaumpisa ko rin dito he he though I've seen some episodes on TV. Dami ko backlog. On hold na muna Ray Donovan.

No new episode this week?

Yup, shows on late Tuesday night in the USA were preempted because of the election coverage. Episode 7 ("Honor Among Thieves") will air on November 11, 2014.

Ok, was excited pa naman as Harold seems to be setting something up. Thanks!

That was a great episode, the first in a three-part arc that will either bring heavy losses for the Machine Gang, or losses for Samaritan's team (hoping that blonde fembot gets whacked). The last time they did a three-part story arc, Carter ended up dead--I'm dreading they might kill off Root or Shaw this time.
Episode schedule for this three-part arc:
ep10: "The Cold War" airdate - Dec 16, 2014
ep11: "If-Then-Else" airdate - Jan 6, 2015
ep12: "Control Alt Delete" airdate - Jan 13, 2015

Oh no... not Root... not Shaw... :(
-
Absolutely fantastic episode! I was on the edge of my seat most of the time....but damn, I'm still in denial about that ending... Shaw better not be dead.
-
yeah! i enjoyed the last episode too.. ganda ng pinapakitang options ng Machine dun sa survival nila hehe..
and I just read that Shaw is pregnant with twins kaya siguro her character should be killed.
-
Oo nga. Nanikip dibdib ko dun sa ending. And I almost had a heart attack dun sa initial scenario. Yun pala one lf those simulations lang.
-
Naku need to watch this na! :D
-
Oh no... we shouldn't have watched the last two episodes... now we can't sleep...
-

Laugh trip sobra yung "simplified" simulation. Also when Fusco "stole" a kiss. 8)
That ending though... :'(
-
So may pag-asa pa or nag-iisip pa sila if her contract will be extended? Or parang Walking Dead na she would be found a zombie na?

Everything's still up in the air...last I heard that Sarah Shahi stated she would be taking at least two years off, and the producers have constantly mentioned that they would like for her to return, whether in a flashback or the present, but they wouldn't say.
Last night's episode was major in a way that the Machine Gang may have found potential allies in their war vs. Samaritan: Control, whose seeds of doubt were planted, and her team that includes Spartacus guy, who's a friend of Shaw's.
-
Good, sort-of-number of the week episode, highlighted by that awesome reveal during the very last minute. 8)
Next week, Zoe returns and Nina Sharp from Fringe Blair Brown guest stars.
-
So indications would be Shaw would turn against Reese, Root and Harold in a confrontation. And there's a contraption inside Shaw's skull.
-
Nagtampo yata si Root...
Sana they make that new cop (Silva) a member of the gang...
-
I want to know if Control will be an ally now.
-
I don't think she has a choice.
Samaritan is evolving and that small town was just a petri dish.
-
good episode, a throwback to their early days when it was just Reese & Finch. It was great to see Zoe back; they should bring back Leon too

He's the Asian accountant who embezzled money from the mafia/mob right? Hahahaha! He was funny in those episodes and made it more hilarious next to Reese's deadpan demeanor.

Yup, that's him, and he's also Bear's occasional nanny ^-^
-
excellent episode, I think our main man is starting to open up...
-
Looks like most of Reese and Finch's potential assets that they've helped in previous episodes show up to help them in the season finale, which also involves a confrontation between Elias and Dominic.
-
Ah something to look forward to!
Magkatuluyan kaya si Reese at si Doc? ;D
-
Last episode was great--Reese is one lucky bastard, may redhead na, may blonde pa, and possibly a brunette (Harper). Also, the Machine is contacting Harper on its own...possible future member?
-
Another good episode... Zoe's back for a slight assist, and she actually mentions what I think is gonna happen to Reese's doctor girlfriend--that she's doomed. Is it me, or is Finch becoming the killjoy of the team? And Reese should've let Root kill that blonde biatch.
Next week features the return of Taraji P. Henson as Detective Joss Carter in flashback scenes, as Reese tries to solve one of her cold cases.
-
So many things going on in this penultimate episode of the season, but that scene involving Root's revenge was truly worth the entire episode: "What do you know? Not a peep."

Next week is the season finale...my guess is that their former assets (and Control) will go the the Machine Gang's rescue.
-
next week na pala season ender nito.. may announcement na ba na renewed for Season 5?
wag naman sana ma-cancel..
-
The Season Finale, titled "YHWH" was superb, and once again proves that this show is currently one of the best shows on TV; I was on the edge of my seat most of the time, and didn't expect the outcome.
If CBS doesn't renew this and instead opts to renew crap like CSI: Cyber, I will be devastated.
-
Renewed for a 5th Season...but possibly the final season; unconfirmed reports state that the series has only been given a 13-episode order, enough to reach past the 100-episode mark for syndication purposes. >:(
-
that's a relief! thanks for the update, bro :)
-
I'd be very pissed if they cancel this series....

‘Person Of Interest’ To End After 5 Seasons (http://deadline.com/2016/03/person-of-interest-canceled-5-seasons-cbs-1201721683/)
-
^ i knew it'd get to that.. anyway, when will season 5 be shown? 13 episodes, right?
-
J.J. Abrams himself sort of confirmed it when he made those comments last January, and I knew the show was a goner when Sarah Shahi was reportedly signed up for a different show, a reimagining of Nancy Drew. :-X
Ah well, hopefully they tie up everything neatly--this creative team has been really awesome the past five years, and I know they're going to do just that. 8)

PlayStation 3s to the rescue! hehe, love that brilliant solution 8)
-
The final season of Person of Interest will have episodes being aired twice weekly for the entire month of May (including one week having 3 new episodes), before it resumes to a weekly schedule in June --gee thanks, CBS, for really wanting to get rid of this show so quickly. >:(
Season 5 Episode schedule:
01: B.S.O.D. - May 3, 2016
02: SNAFU - May 9
03: Truth Be Told - May 10
04: 6,741 - May 16
05: ShotSeeker - May 17
06: A More Perfect Union - May 23
07: QSO - May 24

10: The Day the World Went Away - May 31
11: Synecdoche - June 7
12: .exe - June 14
13: Return 0 (series finale) - June 21
-
Reese is back. ;D
Shaw is back as well...we were shocked when someone important was shot fatally :o
-
Was actually happy at that "surprise" shown towards the end of the most recent episode (ShotSeeker)
-
I love this show. So sad that it will be cancelled after this season. :(
-
I don't get it, why cancel such a great series. :( It's been on top of my list ever since it started.
-
^There's a petition to have it picked up by Netlix. Kinda a longshot but that would be great if ever.
-
I hope Netflix picks it up too. There's so much potential in the series.
-
Finally caught up with the final season. Finch is starting to piss me off with his pessimism.
-
Finch is starting to piss me off with his pessimism.
Not only that, he's actually responsible for the Machine being too passive--as Root keeps saying repeatedly, he should let the Machine react to effectively defend it from Samaritan's attacks, but Finch keeps refusing to do so. But that might change soon, as Elias obviously hit a nerve during his last conversation with Finch.
As for that last episode ... go, Shaw, go! ;D
-
Damn! Incredible ending on that latest episode! Really sad to see this show go.
-

Great to see the team together again!

Same here ... amazing ending to a packed episode, and that ending mirrored the ending of the pilot episode. And at last, Fusco's white dotted box turned yellow like everyone else on the team.

Is it series finale or one more?

Is it series finale or one more?
If only that final scene were the series finale ... one can only hope they'll still be complete by the time the finale ends. I think Bear survives though. :)
There are 4 more episodes to go: one will be aired today, and the series returns to a weekly broadcast schedule for the final 3 episodes starting next week:
May 31: The Day the World Went Away
June 7: Synecdoche
June 14: .exe
June 21: Return 0 (series finale)
-
Oh goodness i thought they're going to end it that way...

Bilis naman. Ep 10 na agad!
-
WTF!!!
-
Ooohhhhh! Dang it! Naging opposite naman yun ending ng 10 after a feel good ep9 ending. :o >:( :'(
-
Anybody knows what happened to Control? She was almost considered an ally by Finch. As far as I recall, we never had closure on what happened to her.
-
I was a wreck after watching this latest episode, which was the 100th episode of this damn fine show.
And Harold Finch should now change his name to Harold Dark Phoenix.
-
I was very satisfied with the series finale. Except for one thing I didn't like, it was a good way for the series to end--will really miss this show.
-
sayang namatay si #### & ####. ay sorry. ayan kung gusto malaman, scratch nyo nalang haha
-
Ssshhh..haven't watched it yet :'(
-
Dang.... hindi ba pwede happy ending? ;D
-
I've never been so happy seeing Shaw murder someone, hehe
-
I miss John already.
-
Harold have been played by the machine and John, haha
-
I will miss this team... :(
