Congrats sir Timn. I've just noticed that the US version of Ling has speaker cover, yung dito sa pinas wala yata.

Thank you very much. ;D
Yes, no grill cloth. I have not spoken to the cabinet builder in PI about adding that. It may be possible but at an added cost. Also, the frame and cloth hinder high frequency response. If you consider that the locally built version is exactly the same in performance as the US version for P5k less is the grill cloth important?

In my case, the grill cloth or cover is important. My small son always touches the woofer, maybe he's attracted to the moving woofer when I'm playing music or watching movies.
Of course, if I'm the only one listening I want my speaker free from grill cloth.
anyway, I hope I can listen to the Ling one of these days, great review.
keep up the good work sir.

Thank you for the reply. I will look into providing a cover.

I hope timn8ter won't mind me posting this.

I don't mind. That is the Ling in a Parts Express cabinet.

Do to the very high cost these are not available in PI, at least not through me.
I hope to have a gathering in December to show the Ling and other products. We need a room somewhere that we can use for demonstrations. I'll not be able to attend the Manila Hi-Fi show (again) :-[.
There has been another review posted for the Lings.
