Daredevil Actors Charlie Cox & Vincent D’Onofrio to Return to Marvel in Echo
It has been announced that Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio will be returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe in next year’s Echo series on Disney+.
Cox, who played Matt Murdock/Daredevil, and D’Onofrio, who played Wilson Fisk/Kingpin, were originally seen in Netflix’s Daredevil series. However, both would appear in more recent MCU works, with Cox’s Murdock having a cameo in Spider-Man: No Way Home, and D’Onofrio’s Fisk playing a major part in Disney+’s Hawkeye series.
Allegedly, Matt Murdock will be looking for a former ally during the series, whom The Weekly Planet podcast says is Jessica Jones — a fellow Netflix Marvel character originally played by Krysten Ritter. The two previously teamed up in Netflix’s The Defenders miniseries, so it’s not out of the question to say that the two could meet again.

This looks almost as violent as the Marvel Series at Netflix. Not your usual Disney TV Series.

Finished Season 1 last night. Not bad, but unfortunately I find it a bit disappointing too. I don't think it is as gritty or as intensely hard-ass as the marketing implied. There are some very good moments and scenes, but they are spread through the episodes and I find the overall flow of the narrative a tad uneven. Perhaps it would have been better to increase the number of episodes by about two more in order to develop it well enough. Still, it's a champion in that it provides a usually overlooked indigenous and PWD perspective and representation to a mainstream Hollywood project.
