THE LATE Sonny Tuazon died early on his mid-50's last year. For a while after his departure, his Home Theater A/V store closed. I got informed by his son BUTCH that he's going to sustained the friendly shop, and in fact their doors have been opened since three or four months ago. This is what Butch stated: WE CARRY TANNOY, UNISON RESEARCH, ESOTERIC, MBL, LOEWE, YAMAHA & CAMBRIDGE. WILL GLADLY DEMO SOME NICE AUDIO STUFF. WE'RE LOCATED AT UNIT C28 SOUTH OF MARKET CONDO, 26TH ST. COR. 11TH AVE., BONIFACIO GLOBAL CITY, TAGUIG. His contact no. #09177-625-777. Fellows may want to visit Butch's showroom on this upscale locale one of these days, in my lexicon Sonny's pricing scheme whether on DC3 HT projectors to Denon DVD transports to the Polk LSi9's - was always fair & flexible. All the best, Butch....

What's the exact name of the shop again?
Thanks!

Butch forgot to cite it but its likely he retained the tradename HOME THEATER. If I were in his shoes I'd hold on to the Home Theater name because that's the catch-all name for all things video and audio. Butch ought to concentrate on video, the bigger the better.

Nice! Friendliest seller among all that I've met.

Name of the shop is One High-Fi Street.

I'd always had a good deal buying audio stuff from Sonny Tuazon back then. He would always give me a friendly price. Back in his Dian store then to Home Theater in Makati. I've never met his son Butch but I spoke to him once over the phone when I inquired about a certain audio rack. He sounded very much like his father. Good luck and congrats on your new store Butch.
To Sonny. May you rest in peace pare..

THE best alternative for the Oppo 103D/105D aspirants now that Oppo is closing shop would be the CAMBRIDGE CXU blu ray unit. The late great Mang Sonny Tuazon's son, Butch, has continued their audio-video trade in BGC (but for a Chinoy employeer/importer/capitalist) and he is importing the CXU's for some years. The model has an Oppo innard but the video template is qualifiably diff'rent from the 103D, it has a darker, more saturated chroma and more aggressive Darbee processing (kung sa Bisaya pa, a 50% on high-def in the Cambridge ay mas isog kaysa sa Oppo, in comparison). Selling for P60,000, well at least, thats the price tag way back in 2017 - but what you get in exchange is DARBEE video processing and a beefier, highly-modded audio capability. Its not multi-Region for BD, hence if someone wants Region B, Butch should serve the EU version....
