Aside from Fluke, whats is a good brand of DMM ? Yung di masyado mahal.
Getting some issues measuring resistors in the less than 10 ohm range, on the 200 ohm setting, when I touch my red to black, i am getting 0.7- 0.8 resistance, and the trimmer can not adjust it to zero

Sanwa brader, had one for sale before for 3.2k model rd300 iirc...

I use alexan ac650, less than 2K ata but also get 00.5 on auto ohms reading so adjust nalang readings if need precision.

checked my Fluke 87 just now....it reads 1.2 ohms... ;D
this is because you are measuring the resistance of your leads....a resistor that says 10 ohms on its body, in reality can read anywhere between 9 and 11 ohms and still be okey for the application....
most dmms tend to read higher than actual when the battery is nearing flat condition, so changing those batteries regularly say every 3 months when used on a daily basis is a good practice...

Thats the reason, I specifically said aside from Fluke... bwahahahahaha
Thanks for all the comments, I think I will just stay with my current DMM (CDR KING, 250 php) and just adjust for that 0.7 reading. I got this specifically just to test for continuity of wires, but lately it has had a much more important role fixing 2 vintage receivers.

at my age, it is far easier to build from scratch than to fix someone else's job.... ;)
