Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced the release of Windtalkers: Extended Director's Cut for the 6th of March, priced at around £19.99. The disc will feature an anamorphic widescreen (2.40:1) transfer, both Dolby Digital and DTS 5.1 audio, an introduction by John Woo, feature-length audio commentaries with John Woo and Terence Chang, Nicolas Cage and Christian Slater and Roger Willie and Navajo Consultant Albert Smith, 'The Code Talkers: A Secret Code of Honour' featurette, an 'American Heroes: A Tribute to Navajo Code Talkers' featurette, 'The Music of Windtalkers' featurette, a Windtalkers Bravo special, an 'Actor's Boot Camp' featurette, a 'John Woo and Creating War' featurette, multi-angle battle sequences, fly-on-the-set diaries, a behind-the-scenes photo gallery and a John Woo biography.
