cuz, ako rin
what i did is place an order dito sa local electronic shop near me. they dont carry DTX but they happy to order it for me, as long that i buy it he..he
turns out naman na same price sila sa raon.
at pwede pang 30 days check!

are you going to hang the bookshelves?
kasi if you're gonna put stands on the bookshelves
better get the floorstanders for rear surround
at 3,800
just like what i will do

pre kimpoy,

will hang them. no room at the back for floorstanders. will be getting those speaker mounts from ace or handyman siguro. thanks for the tip! will contact my dealer here.

last question, were you able to demo the dtx 9.5? or any of the slim line? baka sobrang layo ang sound quality sa monitor audios. am also considering wharfedale 8.1s pero if the dtx 9.5 sounds ok, will go for them.

pareng cuz,
auditioned the floorstanders/center  at megamall showroom, and they delivered the sound i wanted for movies, GOOD highs and mids but the floorstanders lacks bass for movies which is good naman for music.
a good sub will do the trick.

what i liked about the is the high sensitivity at 91db they are easy to drive.

pare at 2,200 and for surround use only, panalo ka na dito.

ah ok. my criteria for surrounds is that they should have good highs and mids since theyll be used for movies lang nman. sa music i go 2chan or 3chan stereo eh. thanks again bro!

Sir,

They are, how would you know if their drivers are different from the other? Though they are the same model, right?

Hmm..  ???

I dont think so. dai-ichi supplies oem driver to  other company di ba?...they even exported pa so why they import driver, maybe imported pero sa dai-ichi rin na company.

That's for dealer protection. They should not be selling lower than their dealers.

I also got mine for 3k at THT.

i have auditioned the 8.1 and the DTX 9.5B
the 8.1 connected to Denon 1803
DTX connected to NAD___
to my ear
mas detailed ang highs on DTX
8.1 is more rounder.

which is the better floorstander among US audio, dtx, and daiichi?

have you tried MEQUE? i think this floorstander have a better bass response because of an additional port.

May nakita ako dun sa megamall showroom ng dai-ichi na black na floorstander. I dont know the model pero yung specs lang ang napagtuunan ko ng pansin. It can go down at 28hz. :o bale nasa side yung sub na 10" Yung dtx na pregnant design ok sa bass pero mas gusto ko yung floorstander na to mas clear ang high and mid. 6700 ang price. i think mas mura sa raon to. :)

Help with Daichi DCS 5100 Sub
« Reply #327 on: Dec 10, 2003 at 01:37 PM »
I need a bit of advice from the audio specialists in the group. I bought this self powered sub a few months back. This is the same sub being packaged with the dcs302 satellites and daichi dvd player. The setup is take the individual 5.1 output of the player which goes to the 5.1 input of the sub. Each channel plays ok, but somehow I find the sub a bit anemic for an 8 incher. So I removed the sub cable and played a test dvd, somehow the sub is still outputting bass. But if I remove the front left and right, the sub is a tad stronger. At first I thought that the signal of the sub was sourced only from the front left and right signals, but since removing these two cables and still getting bass output shows that the sub in of the subwoofer still actually works. I would understand if the sub will get some bass output from the front left and right. Even my yammy when setting the front speakers as small will still send bass signal to my velo, but what I'm wondering about this daiichi sub is that the bass output becomes more anemic when both front speaker cables are attached. Any ideas? Thanks for spending time on my inquiry.

Hi!

Can anybody give a comment on a WH-2 Center between a DTX 9.5c center speakers?

Can anyone give their suggestions on which of these two sounds better? On your opinion to those who have owned or heard of their clarity and detail, could you please give you're personal comment on these two?

Thanks!
