Hi, Guys!
Last week, I bought Seasons 1 & 2 of HBO's Entourage (R3 - Imported) from AstroVision. I watched it with the subtitles on.
I noticed that there are some words that the characters from the feature is saying that is not encoded on the subtitles.
This really irritates me.
Are these defects?
Does anyone know if these are also the case with the R1 version of Entourage?
I hope you guys can help me because I'm seriously considering buying R1 versions of Entourage to replace my recent purchase.
Thanks! :)

It's very common for subtitles not to be exactly what the characters are saying. Particularly when the characters are shooting dialogue rapidly, they usually simplify the dialogue a little bit so that someone reading the subtitles won't be left behind when the scene changes. This is particularly bad in the subtitles for The West Wing.
I really doubt the subtitles for the R1 will be different from those on the R3 version. I'm not 100% sure, though, since I haven't compared them side-by-side. Hopefully someone can give you a more definitive answer.

I don't think there's anything wrong.
The subtitles usually is what's written on the script.
If an actor says something differently he/she does it to simplify or add a little excitement to the script.
Or minsan nagaadlib din yung actor. ;)

napapansin ko rin to minsan, simplified ung subtitles minsan kasi ang haba ng dialogue eh

I see. :)
Thanks, guys!
Buti pa 'yung close-captions sa ibang DVDs at Foreign TV shows matino.
Fave ko pa naman 'tong Entourage.

Even on BDs, I also notice differences in the dialog and subtitles
