1. Mas mura ba kapag sa US bumili or sa Phils.?
2. Meron bang Region Free na BD Player (can play all regions of DVDs and BDs)?
Mas mura pag sa US.
Yes. But I can only talk about Panasonic because my one and only BD player is a Panny BD60.
Asian version Panasonic players are region-free, DVD and BD.
Panasonic US versions must be specially modded to be all-region.
Hindi pa rin sigurado yon sir.
You need to test para sigurado. And if you're going to test it before buying, dapat sa Philippines ka bumili.
Try shopping at Sights and Sounds Shangrila (owner's account here is "E-reply"). Asian version na, mura pa. Puwede mo pa ma-test.
Magkano kaya ito? :D

where can I buy a pany bd player under 5k locally?
Anyone using a Panasonic BDT-110? Its upconversion is really good has DLNA too but unfortunately I'm not able to play divx files on it. MKV is just fine but Divx is not. Has anyone gotten their BDT-110 to play divx?

I bought my Panny from Sights & Sounds. The service center can set it to region free; ask Vic how much it would cost to make it region free for both DVD and BD.

how much ang LG BD6600 ngayon?
It's only available locally as freebie sa mga latest LG 3D LED TV. But there are units selling at PDVD B&S section for 6.5K to 7.5K. Very good in upscaling ordinary dvd movies.

Hey Sojourn, also have the BDT-110, I'm having problems playing AVCHD disk despite updating the firmware to v1.7. How about yours? Are you able to play AVCHD disk? Have you tried hacking it to become multi region for both DVD and BD. You know if there is someone who can do this? Thanks!

good player but im look for something thats within 10k.
i do these players get regular firmware updates? disk codec change for every major release. I don't want to buy a player that only get support for a year. i know some have that problem and i think the LG is that brand.
