When posting, there's a button (second row, 4th from left) with a picture frame of a landscape. That's the Insert Image button (see below). Click on it and put the URL of your picture between the tags.

CrUzSACK, your statement "glow feature isn't working?" has a red glow on my end. In fact, it still 'glows' in the quoted text above.
What browser are you using when you tried to view it? I think the glow, shadow and move tags only work for IE and not in Netscape (in my experience at least).
Try looing at your post on IE and see what happens ;)

GAOL, in my case I use 'cut & paste'. I click on 'quote' button to get the YaBB quote codes of the different messages I need to address (this usually requires me to open another browser window) then I copy the code with the quoted message then paste it on the message I'm drafting.
For multipe quotes from the same message (please see example of my reply to PARC above), I just copy the entire quote code again then just delete the text which has been addressed previously.
Did that confuse you all the more? ??? Hope not. :-/

Hello, I've been trying to master the spoiler trick.
However, when I use what joeypogi's posted, what I get is this:
[glow=black,378934,11344]Green text in a black box[/glow]
Removing the color tags above shows the desired result.
For the sake of Opera/ Netscape users (like me) I just color my test as white white, which makes it harder to read but still can be seen by those with real good eyes.
Question: what are the complele list of colors accepted by the color tags? I wanted a shade of gray used on this board, but putting "gray" gives a very dark gray that's still reedable. I wanted it to match the background so it disapperars.

You can either choose any one of the images there hosted by PinoyDVD or you can use your own. By choosing the latter, you have to tick the small box and fill the blank with the URL where the pic/avatar is hosted.

HellSeed, just try pasting the URL in the blank and then click Change Profile and see what happens.
In my case, when I try to do any non-avatar related update in my profile recently, I always get this error message:

Avatar image is too big, please resize it and try again (max 65 x 65)

But my avatar still appears on every post I have on the boards and It's running smoothly as ever.
While in the past, an avatar/pic of any size will do and the system will just automatically resize it to make it standard. With the recent upgrade of PinoyDVD, I'm not so sure anymore. Trial and error and send us some feedback. ;)

Hey Elf! Just click the (http://www.pinoydvd.com/yabbse/YaBBImages/glow.gif) button and insert the text you want to glow in exchange of the word 'TEXT' between the glow tags as you post your reply. Never mind the glow width specification as your text would still glow even if you don't touch it.

Once you have a desired Flash you wish to post here, check out the URL/source using your browser (click View then Source/Page Source). Locating the exact URL isn't easy though. :( TIP: Just look for the URL with the file extension ".swf". That's Flash.
Once you have the URL, click (http://www.pinoydvd.com/yabbse/YaBBImages/flash.gif) in the Post Reply page. Insert the URL between the [fIash=200,200] and [/flash] tags. The numbers represent default width and height size. If you wish to resize, just enter the desired value.

sungit, you can use [color = white] for this effect: can you read this? (ideal for light gray background)
or [color = silver] for this effect: how about this one? (ideal for dark gray background)
Though these aren't totally invisible, the text are still partially hidden and their color codes easier to remember since you're using actual color names. :)
If you still prefer the 100% invisible effect, just remember that color code is either six E's or six D's. ;)

If the DVD cover image you'll be using will come from Amazon, it usually have three varied sizes of the same DVD title:
thumbnail
(http://images.amazon.com/images/P/B00004Y6A6.01.THUMBZZZ.jpg)
regular size
(http://images.amazon.com/images/P/B00004Y6A6.01._PE10_SCMZZZZZZZ_.jpg)
and large (the one you posted).
Just pick the size you deem appropriate. :)

filth, when you right click and choose Copy Shortcut, what you're actually copying is not not the image itself but the hyperlink/page attributed as if you actually clicked that particular image. In your case, you copied the 'click here to enlarge' link/image so you got the big DVD cover and not the regular size you intended to display.
Here's what you should do:
- cursor/mouse over the image of your choice
- right click
- choose Properties (located at the bottom of the pop-up menu
- highlight and copy the URL
- paste it...and DONE! :)

...or what you can do is just modify your post, and edit the filename of your image... since you got the image from Amazon.com, the filename of your image would be something like something-something.LZZZZZZZ.jpg. Just replace the "L" with "M" and you'd get the medium (or regular) sized image (without the "10% off logo), then save your post... if you want your image to be "thumbnail-sized", then just replace "LZZZZZZZ" with "THUMBZZZ". hope this helps... :)

HellSeed, just click the (http://www.pinoydvd.com/yabbse/YaBBImages/profile.gif) icon in the menu above. Once in the page, look for the Personalized Picture entry. You can either choose any one of the images there hosted by PinoyDVD or you can use your own. By choosing the latter, you have to tick the small box and fill the blank with the URL where the pic/avatar is hosted.

You can actually use any image (as long as its not offensive) you can find on the 'net as your avatar. But you may want to look for graphics not more than 65x65 pixels since that's the max PinoyDVD allows. No need to put the [img] tags in changing your avatar. ;)

As you may have noticed, threads in our forums are arranged in chronological order based on the date stamp of the most recent reply.
A *bump* is usually done when one wants a certain thread to get noticed again. Doing this makes that thread go on top of the topic index while the *bump* post is reflected in the Recent Post page.
While its always good to bring up old and relevant threads especially for new members, doing this often might be mistaken as post padding. ;D
Personally, I think its always better to see a message that somehow contributes to the discussion related to the topic than just typing "b-u-m-p". But that's just me. ;)

your number 2 image might be too big... i noticed that it's 70 x 70. i think pinoydvd avatars have a size limit of 65 x 65.

pag nagtransact kayo, you as a buyer should click the buy it now button pag nagkasarahan kayo, then the feedback part will come out. that's why pag bagong transaction best to click the new sm** buy. para the buy it now or bidding button comes out. sadly not all sellers does this. the seller can leave feedback for the buyer too. ;D

correct, kaya minsan, nag rerepost nalang yung seller, para lang makapag click ng buy it now yung buyer. i did it once. sayang din feedback. ;D

you can go to photobucket's settings and choose a larger resolution, for PDVD, horizontal pixels should be around 620 pixels

Can't seem to find the settings. Funny thing is I did not seem to have this problem before. Photobucket seems to downsize the images I upload :-\. Big pictures uploaded become so small when I view in my album :-\. Will keep experimenting and hopefully will not have to change to another provider.

mahirap nga hanapin. try to upload something, but select bulk uploader. then click "more options" at the bottom after the bulk uploader java finishes loading

Ako ginagawa ko sa microsoft excel ko lang edit tapos CTRL-COPY paste sa paint ;D

thank you mga sirs, ng sinubukan ko like edit sa photoshop at sa excel, walang option para ma-paste ko sa signature yung picture, am im missing any steps? - tamang field po ba paglalagyan ko, sa signature ba dapat? tia

Save mo muna as jpeg(or any image format) yung file sa paint(or any photo editing software). Tapos upload mo sa photobucket(or any photo uploading website). Then copy the [img][img] code then paste it sa signature mo.

1. select a photo, then right click, edit.
2. resize the photo.
3. click select, rectagular selection from the menu. start from the lower left corner then drag till you reach the upper right corner.
4. click copy from the menu
5. select from menu, create a new picture
6. program will then ask if you want to save the current photo, click NO.
7. paste the copied photo from a new sheet. as much as possible,paste it in the upper left corner of the blank sheet.
8. do the same procedure...but don't save the current sheet that you made.keep it open till you finish.then save it as jpg file.
sample that i made in 5mins or less......

9. save it in any photo uploading website (im using photobucket). once saved, copy the IMG CODE located in the lower portion of your photo.
10. open your profile in PDVD, go to forum profile information, go to signature, then paste the IMG CODE from your photo website.
11. then change your profile... :)
