Post by: cxiao12 on May 06, 2018 at 10:29 PM
Suggestion guys regarding a display unit, I was offered 106k for 75" sony x8500e 4 months na daw naka display sa store nila. shall i go for x8500F or x9000e/f on 65" o okay lang naman yung display unit since may warranty naman?

hindi na brand new yan lalabas kasi almost 1 year nang gamit assuming you watch around 4-5hrs a day

Too expensive an investment for an open box/display unit.

Some would prefer a display unit because it is already tested.

If matawaran mo 80 to 85K good buy na.
I know someone from Ansons and told me they sold their display unit with the same model for 86K

Personally I’d say “No”

1. Display units are often times more used than TVs from homes. Opened and running non stop from the time the mall opens until it closes.
2. The “E” designation means its a 2017 model so that’s on its way out.
3. I’m “ok” with warranties but at times when its an out going model pag may problema ang tagal palitan ng damaged part. My 2015 Sony Led had a problem and it took more than a month to replace the panel bec puro 2016 models na and the part had to be ordered from Singapore.  Not saying it won’t happen with a bnew...So luck of the draw nalang.

^ The panel on my x800D had a problem. Nung pinawarranty ko, advice nila is palitan agad. Yung Abenson branch na pinagbilan ko, sa Cavite branch pa nakakita ng unit pero pag dating sa kanila, x800E pala. Ended up with that unit. Dagdag na lang ng konti.
