Starring: Angelina Jolie, Morgan Freedman, James MacAvoy
Released: 2nd December 2008
SRP: $34.98 (2-Disc DVD)

Further Details:
Universal has announced 1-disc ($29.98), 2-disc ($34.98), and Blu-ray ($39.98) editions of Wanted which stars Angelina Jolie and James McAvoy. Each will be available to own from the 2nd December. The 2-disc and Blu-ray editions will include 8 featurettes (Cast and Characters, Stunts on the L Train, Special Effects: The Art of the Impossible, Groundbreaking Visual Effects: From Imagination to Execution, The Origins of Wanted: Bringing the Graphic Novel to Life, Through the Eyes of Visionary Director Timur Bekmambetov) a feature on the making of the video game, Wanted: Motion Comics, a "killer" extended scene, and a digital copy of the film. The Blu-ray release will also include some additional BD-Live features.

Also available from the 2nd December will be DVD ($64.98) and Blu-ray ($69.98) Giftsets. Each will feature the 2-disc DVD or Blu-ray, along with a Book of Assassins, 4 collectible postcards and a lenticular scene in an acrylic frame. the artwork for the slipcase is better than that of the amaray inlay imo.  can live without the giftset though.

Lately I find the cover art of the single disc edition better than the 2-disc one....Wanted, Hancock among others.

I wasn't going to buy any edition but if this steelbook gets released here, I'm gonna have to..

just heard from Magna and they said that we're getting a gift set and a steelbook release here.. hope the steelbook looks like the one above..

I saw copies of the R3 release in video stores.  We're way, way ahead of the R1 release!!

yeah, but that's a PAL release with minimal features.. still to come pa yung 2-Disc NTSC version..

ok, just heard from Magna that there will be a gift set after all.. they will be releasing both the steelbook and the gift set daw.. (OT: no more gift set for Hellboy 2, though :()

Oh crap.  The Hellboy figurine looks great.  And I was looking forward to it. Silly Magnavision, if their box is neat, it could sell quite a number... I think the Hellboy figurine is way better than the Crystal Skull (which from what I can tell, is gathering dust at stores. ) Hopefully, TDK giftset will sell out quickly and lead Magna to reconsider again...
