The Avengers - Mrs. Peel. Need I say more?
Wild Wild West - I have fond childhood memories of this series when reruns were shown on IBC 13.
This is showing on Solar almost every night, indie.
Wonder Woman
Lynda Carter! YOW! ;D
Andy Richter
Wonder Woman
Is this the one na ang full title eh Andy Richter Controls The Universe?
Here's some of mine:
Cop Rock It fails magnificently. But I like how the idea felt daredevil and absurd, avant and ridiculous all at the same time. Couched in the ultra-safe comfort zones of network TV, it was a tightrope walk for Steven Bochco. Of course, it didn't deliver. But again, for the pure sensation of the idea, I'd see this again.
Kolchak The Night Stalker Another X Files forebear. Probably thin if we see it again (as some of the once creepy as f-u-c-k Night Gallery episodes are turning out to be now that they're being replayed on Solar) but this was one of the first serieses that I followed religiously. The next time I was as devout about a series was NYPD Blue (David Caruso's run only). . .
. . .and Millennium IMHO, many times prefarable to Chris Carter's other series(you all know what that is). Dark, sometimes relentlessly so, and creepy, in ways Tv shows shouldn't be. Lance Hendriksen is one of my favorite actors of all time so that's a plus. I'm also really curious about Carter's short-lived Harsh Realm. No less than one of my fave writers William Gibson raves about it , which has made me curious.
oooh ooooh The Equalizer! you know the other day i was trying to remember the these song to the show. but man, edward woodward kicked ass.
i was a big fan of Knots Landing when i was a kid. amon all those 80's primetime soaps, this was the one i liked best... must be the whole subarban feel to it.
China Beach is also something i wish i could see again. i loved this show and had the hugest crush on ned vaughn. one of the few TV shows that made me cry... though i can't remember the particular episode that did my tears in.
i was just reminscing about Moonlighting over dinner because the theme song was playing in the radio. i liked the sexual tension between cybil sheperd and bruce willis.
the A-Team! i thought mr. T was a god! i'm sure after knightrider's run on star, they're gonna show this one next.
then again there's also Remington Steele, Hunter, TJ Hooker...
I forgot about Millennium. That was one freaky, stylish series. Too bad they didn't finish the whole story.
Chris Carter officially ended Millennium's story by having Lance Henriksen guest in an episode of "The X-Files". Also titled "Millennium", that episode was extremely creepy, but had a nice ending to Frank Black's story, even though it seemed rushed.
One show I miss that probably no one here remembers is "Northern Exposure", about a snooty, whiny Jewish doctor who is forced to work in some remote small town in Alaska. It was great show, quirky and funny, with excellent characters, great music, and spectacular scenery. The series wasn't the same when the lead actor, Rob Morrow, left to pursue a movie career, and it was soon cancelled after its 6th season. Wish they'd release it on DVD...

I usually get shows out of my system before they're cancelled, but I guess I miss a few shows that evoke pleasant childhood memories:
"V"
Buck Rogers
Eight Is Enough
BJ and the Bear
Among the more recently cancelled shows I miss are:
Seinfeld
Buffy The Vampire Slayer
Speaking of "TV Series You Miss," what do you guys think of REUNION shows? I used to think they were fun and nostalgic:
Eight is Enough: A Family Reunion
I Dream of Jeannie: 15 Years Later
Knots Landing: Back to the Cul-De-Sac
Dallas: J.R. Returns
But the more recent ones have been really disgusting:
Dallas: War of the Ewings
The Growing Pains Movie
L.A. Law: The Movie
Tv series that I terribly missed....
STARSKY & HUTCH- David Soul was unknown then before he sang "DON'T GIVE UP ON US" which sad to say his first and last hit!
I forgot his buddy on this t.v. series.
i can't believe i didn't put Northern Exposure! i never failed to watch an episode (my favorite's the ep they did about the Aurora Borealis. brilliant.)
the A-Team! i thought mr. T was a god! i'm sure after knightrider's run on star, they're gonna show this one next.
mission impossible
a-wolf (tama ba?)
silk stalkings (also, tama ba?) ;D
The Voyagers (featuring the late John Eric Hexum) ~ does anyone remember this one?
i think you're referring to AIRWOLF. :)

Electric Company (hey you guys!)
yes it was. :-)
there were also some shows that follow electric company.Wasn't there a show about an electric girl?
Sigmund and the Sea Monsters :-)
"and there is one tv series that has a robot girl in the family?"
^^LOL, I remember that! I think Electrawoman & Dyna Girl was produced by Sid & Marty Krofft (sp?), same guys who did Sigmund and the Sea Monsters
--or were they part of the Sigmund show? Can't remember na...
There was also something similar about an Egyptian super-heroine--was it Isis? If I recall correctly, it used to air with another short, Shazam! (DC's Captain Marvel)
And I also remember a series I really liked but barely understood at the time--a scifi series with cool vehicles and groovy (there's that word again) outfits; UFO was its title, and it was produced by the same team who would go on to do Space:1999 (another great series) a decade later.
Was this Small Wonder?
totally forgot about Batman and Robin. Now that's a series. I remember seeing it again after so many years and noticed the sexual innuendos of catwoman to batman.Of course we didnt understand that when we were kids enjoying this great series. hehehe
If you guys liked the old Batman series, you really MUST watch the reunion movie, "Return to the Batcave":
It's totally hilarious! Quite hard to describe. I'd say part caper, part parody, part reenactment... high camp value. ;D
Back in the early 80's, there was this sit-com about the school lives of teens in a mid-western town, called Square Pegs. The show starred a young and fresh Sarah Jessica Parker, who played a geeky lass complete with eyeglasses and braces, as one of the misfits ("You can't put a square peg in a round hole..."). Her first tv role was so unlike her previous turn as a fashionista writer in Sex and the City. Sadly it only lasted for a season, but that show had one of the funniest scripts written for TV (well when you're 9 or 10, everything seems to be funnier than it should be).
I wish it could be remade, or at least made available again in local TV (RPN-9 used to air it).

Does anyone still remember the "James at" series? I remember there was at least an 'at 15' and 'at 16' season. 'Twas a memorable series for me and my best friend then as we were both going through a lot of the stuff that Lance Kerwin's character was also going through. A great 'coming of age' series for young boys. ;)
Sadly I don't think there's any interest to put 'em out on DVD.... :(
Can I mention sketch comedy shows (e.g. Saturday Night Live, Mad TV)? One of the wildest sketch comedies I've watched was (I'm holding my breath...)
I n L i v i n g C o l o r
The Wayans siblings were the craziest sickest bunch that ever graced a comedy show. From impersonations of Milli Vanilli, Oprah Winfrey, Arsenio Hall, Grace Jones, Whitney Houston, to original characters like Antwone Jackson the homeless guy, Homey the Clown, the Homeboyz, and Hey Mon with the Jamaican family the Headleys, they made me appreciate (and laugh out hysterically) humor, Afro-American style (Yikes, I think I'm being racist... sorry)
Oh, and Jim Carrey was first discovered here. Was he one crazy sick guy on that show. His gender-confused beauty queen-fitness instructor Vera de Milo drove me nuts...!
the xfiles. nobody can hold a candle to mulder and scully.

Post your lists and discuss.
I'll make up mine and post later.
But to kickstart, I'll mention one. . .

When I was a kid I remember watching The Maestro and Uncle Bob, with Uncle Bob Stewart as host and Fred Elizalde as pianist. When Elizalde died, Joselito Pascual took his place and the show was renamed Uncle Bob and Friends.

Ryan Cayabyab had Ryan Ryan Musikahan. Mr. C accompanied on the piano mostly guest singers.
Haaay, I miss those shows, wala na bang ganitong mga music shows? :(
Holy crap! That's a part of my childhood I had forgotten. I suddenly remembered The Maestro, his death and the replacement. Wow.
Thanks for the trip down memory lane.
The first 2 seasons was directed by Peque Gallaga.
Two seasons lng sa channel 9 Phil, the one in channel 4, PQ directed it. I was watching last night the docu on Champoy...The Last Bite. It was a blast to see again Noel, Subas, Tessie Tomas, Gary Lising, Maya Valdes, Cherie Gil and Peque reminiscing the show before it close in the 80s.
Where did you find the docu? On air, or on home video?

Man from Atlantis. Had a huge crush on Belinda Montgomery then!
for those who have kids, "The Electric Co." is a good follow-up show to Sesame Street as it teaches them to read ... my brother learned to read at the age of 4 by just watching The Electric Co., and without going to any formal education - di pa uso ang prep at nursery at that time, kinder or grade 1 na kaagad, and most parents that time are not so involved with their child's education unlike today - normally sariling sikap tayo dati from an early ageI agree. Ako sa sesame street natutong magbilang, ABC at magbasa ng oras.
DVD's of the program are still available from Amazon today, highly recommended

Stargate Atlantis grew on me and I ended up liking it as well, but I much prefered Stargate SG-1. They had really excellent stories specially in the first couple of seasons.
+1 on AirWolf!
How about Blue Thunder?
Isn't Blue Thunder a movie?
meron tv series sir kasi di yata natapos yung season 1
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0086671/?ref_=ttep_ep_tt
1983 yung movie
1984 yung tv series
how about "street hawk"? me nakakaalala ba nito?

The Golden age of television. ;D Maliit pa ako nun but have read and am a fan of those old shows. I remember Street Hawk.

After reading a hoax death report on Robert Conrad, I remembered the Baa Baa Black Sheep series because I thought then that they shot the series here. Also Battle of the Network Stars especially when the ladies don't wear their bras!
Elementary days.
yung mga bra-less ang actresses na TV series in the 70s and 80s. Wala nang ganoon ngayon. Puro sports bra or lifters or fake. hehehe
sa FRIENDS madalas ganyan si Jennifer Aniston and Courtney Cox hehehe
