There's a store in Filinvest Alabang selling these for P10K-P12k per pair.

Yes, in Blims they sell many of the nice LaZboy recliner seater. :) They also sell those imported HT 3 or 4 seaters.

For the more traditional cinema seats as shown by Jairus, Theater Works in Trinoma (Sir Jeff) is selling them :)

If you're looking for 'Lazy-boy type' seats you can try Mandaue Foam:

http://www.mafiinc.com/Contact.htm (http://www.mafiinc.com/Contact.htm)

Their Manila branch is in Cainta. They make good furnitures. That's where I got my sofa set. And that's where I'll get most of my furnitures soon.

For 38k, you can get the 3-seater leather recliner seater.

All furnitures less 5% if paid by cash.

If you're looking for lazy boy style seats, try Ongpin. There were several seats that i saw. The store has 3 floors for furnitures. The lazy boys are on the 3rd floor. Different colors, leathers and seat configuration and some with massager. Tried one seat ( ayaw ko nang tumayo) The sales lady claims that they supply the seats on malls. It's cheaper to buy at their Ongpin location. Just forgot the name of the store. Sorry.

Finiture Collezione for me, they also have a micro fibre cloth for the seats. Feels more confortable than the leather, kahit gaano kalamig aircon ko pinapawisan pwit ko pag matagal na nakaupo pag leather.

 ;)

Is this true? Because as far as I know, Blims is the exclusive distributor of La-Z-Boy products here in the Phils.

I believe the poster is referring to "lazyboy"-style seats not lazyboy brand per se.

Marami nga sa Binondo area, particularly Nueva.  I saw a four-seater curved theater couch with separate foot rest selling for 90-95T.  Forgot the brand.  Italian made (or brand --- I forgot) half-leather.  The cheapest one I saw is 3 seater, the center of which can be folded as a center table...synthetic leather..China made selling for P35T.  The three seats are detachable and not that comfy (pero cheap naman).

Ah ok. Usually (based on my opinion), most china/korean made Lazyboy-type seats are not that comfortable e, and not durable.

well, you get what you pay for. ;D ;D ;D  I notice a lot of italian brand ht seats (and furniture) that are made in China...

share ko lang, I remember seeing a three-seater HT seats being sold at Larry's Curtains along South Superhighway.  Not Lazyboy but a US brand and made daw.. It's very comfy and nice although expensive, P120T+.

You are right ;) Kung hindi naman kayo MASAWAIN sa mga gamit then I would highly recommend you save up for the Orig La-Z-Boy seats. Its so comfy and really durable. Had mine for over 4yrs and up to now hindi pa nalulundo ;D malikot pa ako sa silya non ha ::) ;D ;D ;D

how much did you spend on materials and labor?
Title: Re: where to buy lazyboy/ht seats?

less than 15K.

It would have looked much better if only the upholsterer followed my instructions.

I used surplus car seats worth 800/pair. I did the frame and linkages for the leg rest.

I also provided storage space under the arm rests plus cup holders. There is also a provision for installing a small table for both seats. The table is strong enough for lap tops and pop corns. hehe.

Seat being built.

Seat with open arm rest for storage of remote, ear phones, candies, and built in LED lights.

That's a great idea.  I love DIY projects (But often too busy (lazy) to do them myself.  hahaha).  Great thing about this other than the reduced cost. You can design to fit your needs.  Bro, may bass shaker ba yan sa ilalim?   ;D

Ah yes! I did install a bass shaker for both seats.

The rear sofa will be replaced come January with a 3 seater. It will be permanently semi reclined because it is already adjacent to the wall. But leg rests will be individually movable. The two middle arm rest will also be fordable to mahe the sofa a sleepr.

Their Boris four-seater looks nice but won't fit my room.  :(
