Is there any other way for me to use headphone on 32' ld330???
-
I have analyzed your concern and there are so many ways to remedy it. All you need is a small stereo amplifier with volume control, left/right input Rca jacks, and output stereo socket compatible to your headphone plug. This can be assembled by a person with electonics skill but will prove expensive and time consuming in the long run. There is, however, a faster, cheaper and practical way to address your needs. Just buy a cheap WIRELESS HEADPHONE from Cdr King. Take note that generally, wireless sounds inferior to directly wired headphones.
Hope this helps................

use your tv out.

or

then read iAMhitek's post again.
-
you need to desperately understand the suggestions given to you ;D
-
Bro. use your tv out then connect it to a mini compo (if you have), most of the mini compo has a headphone jack or output then that's it...,you don't have to assemble everything..use the correct rca to rca or rca to babyplug connector.
-
If you want to buy the cheapest wireless headphone for your requirement, you can buy this at php380 at CDRKing. Have not tried this yet. Since you are looking for this, here it is. See the link:
http://www.cdrking.com/?mod=products&type=view&sid=7001&main=34
You can use the RCA jack cable supplied with the wireless headphone transmitter unit to connect to the RCA audio out of your LCD TV. All the cables that you will ever need are included in the package.
-
@tinifork
All suggestions by our helpful members are correct ho.
As I have mentioned, there are many ways of doing this.
The most practical ( very cheap, comes in handy, and ready to use ) is to buy the cheap cdr king wireless headphones ( by the way, i used both the cdr king and Sony brands ), and as our friendly members already suggested to you, just plug the left/right rca plugs of your future wireless headphone to the left/right AUDIO OUT sockets of your tv.
Checking this LD330 from LG's site, there are 2 possible AUDIO OUT available. Please choose the one with fixed sound output ( the sound that is independent of your tv's volume control para ho mas maganda ang overall sound quality---- pag very low ho kasi ang input level sa wireless heaphones, maingay ang transmitted signal ).
hope this clears more...................
-
forgot to mention ho, wireless headphones have their own volume control installed at the headphone itself --- convenient for adjusting your preferred listening level regardless of the tvs volume.
-
use your tv out.

then read iAMhitek's post again.
sir, i ve already used the jack converter that has two male jacks and one input for the headphone pero still not working sir. I have already read sa manual na i have to have the OPTION in my audio setup that should make "audio out" in my tv pero exempted sa manual ung ld330 kasi wala syang option na ganun.
@OZnola,edison,ppoooh: thanks talaga! ^&^
@iAMhitek:uhm, kung di naga work ung tv audio out sa lcd tv ko then di din magwork ung wireless na headphone? tama ba? my kilala ka bang ld330 din na user who can use headphone on the same unit?? i have already tried emailing the customer service ng LG bout this prob pero di pa nagreply...
@all: sa lahat ng mga nagreply SALAMAT! ^&^ SARAP DITO SA PDVD!

@tinifork
the AUDIO OUTPUTs of your tv are meant to drive only high impedance loads ( in the kilo ohms or more range ) such as input to an avreceiver, mixer, etc. and NOT MEANT to directly drive a low impedance headphone ( about 32 ohms ).
if you connect your headphone to any of your tv's 2 AUDIO OUTPUTs, you will not hear a sound kasi hindi nya kaya ang napakababang load.
it's like short circuiting your audio outputs.
that is why you need a circuit that matches both the input and the output and some of these are already suggested to you.
sana ho ma clarify ito in your part.
and thanks din ho sa lahat.
MABUHAY ang PDVD!!!!!!!! we learn a lot from here................
-
@iAMhitek: NOW I GET IT!!!!!!!!!!!!! ^&^ salamat talaga tol ha.. thats why i cant hear any sound at all.. last question (and i think its the most dumbest question) saan ko banda mahanap ang audio out?? meron kasing for AV and for component na audio out. I would use the headphone sana specifically for playing xbox 360 and im using HDMI cord. So saan ko i PaPLUG? BAIT NG MGA TAGA PDVD !!!!(especially you iAMhitek ^&^ )
-
@tinifork
this is the reason ho why we have PDVD: to learn from and help each other.
since I personally don't own this model, all I can say is that the 2 available outputs are at the back panel.
since there are 2 AUDIO OUTs in your tv, just connect your soon to be wireless headphone's left rca plug to the left rca jack of your tv ( same applies to the right plug and right jack ) to anyone of these AUDIO OUTs ( at the back of your tv ).
left channel is normally white or black, while the right channel is red.
adjust both your tv's and wireless headphone's volume controls till you hear sound.
if there is still no sound, try using the other AUDIO OUT of your tv following the same procedure as before until you hear sound.
Pasensya na ho mabagal ako when it comes to keyboard that's why medyo hard to explain in detail at marami typo error.
If it's still not clear to you, please don't hesitate to ask from your co members...........we are all here to share and help.................
-
indeed forums like these helps a lot! ^&^ thanks to pdvd i hve chosen the best lcd tv that suits my needs (except for the headphone i guess..LOL! ^&^)

please send more pics since can't locate the OUTPUTs.
the pic only shows the various INPUTs.

I actually tried to check LD330 specs last night, it seems it doesn't have an audio output connector (rca or headphone out).. weird.. kaya di na lang ako nagpost ng input, kasi baka incomplete lang yung specs. :P
-
that's really weird!
the LG site is very clear that there are 2 AUDIO OUTs.
thanks for sharing ho............

As shown, it seemed that the LD330 that you have, doesn't have any audio output port/s. In this case, you won't be able to use wireless headphone as suggested. This means that you won't be able to output any cable TV channels audio out to a headphone. While any other external audio/video sources (like dvdplayer, htib, etc.), outside of your LD330 can be connected to a wireless headphone.
-
LG SG site pala yung napuntahan ko kagabi.. due to curiosity, I tried to access LG PH site just now. You're correct, it seems there is audio out for this model. Kulit lang, hindi consistent yung specs. hehe
-
good,
at least alam natin may chance pa, he, he, he
-
Already downloaded the User Manual at LG Phils website. Here is what the manual indicated. Circled in RED. It doesn't have any Audio Variable or Monitor Out RCA ports. No headphone port either.

Too bad.......
-
in that case, the end.........
thanks for sharing bro.............
-
on the other hand, since TINIFORK is basically interested in using the headphone setup for his xbox 360, pwede pa if the xbox has also audio out.
just connect the audio out to the input of the wireless headphone.
-
@all: thanks for sharing infos guys!!! ^&^ i really appriciate it.. didnt know until now that co-members here would really go out of their way just to help ^&^ SALAMAT!
@iAMhitek: wala ding audio out ang xbox eh..pero i have a special cord that i used before na dun ko sinasaksak ung headphone kasi CRT monitor lang man gamit ko before.. that could do the trick pero Through RGB cord lang sya.. so di na hi-def... meron bang HDMI to RGB converter??
-
meron ho sir but wala sa cdr king.
console na ho ang converter ( not a simple adaptor ).
-
@tinifork
kindly provide us the exact model of your xbox.
maybe somebody can figure out a better solution.
-

in that case bro, just connect the HDMI to your tv and the audio out to your future wireless headphone.
since the xbox uses proprietary AV connector, gamitin nyo ho yong dating connector you used which enabled you to use the analog audio output of your xbox.
alam ko ho pin configuration ng AV connector ng xbox, but it is beyond your skill to access it without any help from a tech guy.
i believe you can buy an adaptor for converting the proprietary AV connector to conventional RCA out from xbox dealers.
i saw several of these in the net.
follow nyo lang ho proper connection ng left and right channels ng audio if you have the AV connector adaptor/converter na.
since it worked before sa old crt monitor nyo, it will definitely work for your LCD tv too.
-
-
i think this model is a blunder tv by LG.
an LCD tv without at least an AUDIO OUPUT?
-
im surprised myself, usually pag walang audio out, may headphone jack. oh well, kaya siguro kaya nilang babaan ang presyo ng mga lcdtv, dahil sa kulang kulang ang ports/connectors. :-\
-
@iAMhitek: i guess that would be my last resort. LG service center called me this morning, wala daw talagang tv out but i really appreciated the effort they made. SALAMAT sa tulong. uhm, any suggestions on how would i maximize the PQ of this LCDTV? ive heard sa SNS na meron silang Picture calibration pero you would pay for it and it is not cheap. Any infos you could give me on this?
-
@iAMhitek: "in that case bro, just connect the HDMI to your tv and the audio out to your future wireless headphone."
uhm, mejo d ko naintindihan. would it be possible na gamitin ko ung HDMI port ng XBOX while at the same time using the AV port too? is that what you mean by this ba?? mejo nalito ako
-
@iAMhitek: ito ba yung sinasabi mo bro?? ive read na it can support 1080p so no need na ng hdmi ^&^
(http://i263.photobucket.com/albums/ii121/eovnu87435ds/xbox%20360/P8040012.jpg)

@tinifork
yeah, this AV connector will suffice.
connect the VGA plug of the xbox to your TV's RGB IN (PC).
connect the left ( white ) /right ( red ) channel RCA plugs of your xbox to the left ( white ) /right ( red ) RCA input sockets of your wireless headphone.
sounds will be on your headphone only.
you can also try this:
connect your HDMI cable from the xbox to the TV HDMI input.
using your AV connector pictured above, connect the left ( white )/right ( red ) channel RCA plugs of your xbox to the left ( white )/right ( red ) RCA input sockets of your wireless headphone.
this is better since you will have sounds both on the TV and headphone.
for the PQ, if you want to save from calibration expenses, set your TV's settings to your likes.
just adjust your TV with the most accurate skin tone.

please update us later kung ano na.
lahat may paraan bro pag pinagisipan at pinagtulungan.
we have many members here who are really willing to share and help.
with them, things may turn out a lot easier for all of us in PDVD.

Bro, heads up lang kita.
-
SAna kaya ang 1080p na resolution. un lang ung mali sa LD330 na model pero non the less its a great unit ^&^
-
i already got my vga converter from davao.. thankfully it worked. i can now use headphone to my ld330 pero ang prob masyadong mahina ang volume. is there any way para malakasan ko ang volume nito?? a special headphone will work ba?
-
please specify what type/make of headphone you used.
-

ordinary cdr king lang..yung tag 150 ^&^
-
bro, you need a small POWER AMPLIFIER to boost the signal.
as already suggested to you, the most practical is to use a wireless headphone.

so kung bibili ako ng wireless headphone it would guarantee na malalakasan ko pa talaga ung volume?? ^&^

yes kasi may sarili syang amplifier.
yun yung nirecommend sayo 1st page palang.
-
-
good morning bro! :)
-
good morning din bro.
mahirap talaga ang technology for people na wala sa ganyang linya.
after more than 4 decades sa electronics, until now on going pa rin search ko for knowledge.
sa mga TV nga lang marami pa dapat ma clarify to fully understand what is behind them.
I don't rely much on manufacturer's claims kasi most of the time either they are lying or exaggerating things.

more on exaggerating lang siguro bro. kumbaga amplified ;D

@iAMhitek and ninjabenz: sige, sige bibili ako mamaya ng wireless headphone, i guess my problem is already solved! GOD BLESS ^&^

ganun talaga bro, minsan dumodoble ang gastos. which is part of the learning process. :)
mababait naman tao dito bro, marami matulungin ;D
-
bro, I have checked some PC speakers from CDR that may be suitable to your needs in case you do not want to use a wireless headphone which needs batteries (hassle din ang pagpapalit ng batteries) but a little more expensive (P380.00 vs. P680.00).
buy ka na lang ng 2.1 channels PC speakers (GRAVID SUBWOOFER SPEAKER) for P680.00 sa CDR at make sure lang na wala or minimal ang HUM/HISS noise nito.
maganda ito since both the INPUT and OUTPUT have RCA sockets, so pwede na plug mo any headphone to the RCA output (this is the left and right output to the speakers, ibig sabihin ho ay instead of using the speakers gamitin na lang ang headphone) using appropriate stereo adaptor para maging compatible ang plug ng headphone to the RCA output ng PC speaker.
patulong kayo sa staff nila for the adaptor or if not available from them, secure it from other stores.
bro, we are here to assist PDVD members who need some technical help.
-
My view here is if you really need a headphone, get the wireless headphone (from CDRing?). It should have an RCA input for your audio source (except from LD330 which doesn't have audio out). I suppose this is what you originally needed in the first place (so as not to annoy other people in the house). Am not sure if these wireless headphone units have wired headphone jack as well.
Actually, I don't agree if you buy an external power speaker instead, if you just needed the headphone. Although there are some powered speakers with headphone out jacks. I have a Philips powered speaker set that has a headphone out jack as well. Other than the headphone requirement, why an external powered speaker when you can make use of the LD330 internal speakers.
Unless you wanted a more solid sound, you can opt to get an HTIB instead, which might have headphone out as well. Am not really sure about this headphone out thou. I guess you have to confirm this part. But some compo (mini/micro), I believe have headphone out jack.
Hope this helps.
