Title: Rega rp1 carbon on Elex-R vs Yamaha YP 211 Ortifon 2M Red on Marantz 2216

Both connected to Kef LS 50.  the Yamaha/Marantz set-up beats the Rega rp1/Elex-R hands down.  Tha yamaha sports an ortofon 2M Red while the RP 1 has the stock Carbon cart/stylus. Warmer and full bodied sound. isa pa, matagal bago uminit yun rega elex-r phono, i want to know also if you have this same issue with your elex-r amp. minsan mga 5 minutes bago mo marinig yung sound.

Hinde ko pa na try yun Nagaoka mp 110 sa RP1, siguro mag improve yun sound kapag napalitan.
