Wonderfalls debuted tonight at 10PM on StarWorld. If you like Joan of Arcadia and you're a sarcastic Gen Y-er, you'll definitely get into this show.

Give it a shot.

But didn't it get cancelled in the US after 5 episodes or something?

Also, it was conceptualized and produced around the same time as Joan of Arcadia, but they chose to release this later so as not to coincide with Joan.

Yeah... the producers were upset with the network even BEFORE the show hit the air, since FOX put it in its death time slot - Friday nights at 9PM yata. Every show on that slot on FOX fails to generate ratings. Wonderfalls was not an exception.

It did have a strong enough cult following for it to be released on a full-featured DVD, though. The producers were cautious and feared for the show's survival, so they gave the season finale closure. No cliffhangers, so you can enjoy the show without worrying about being left hanging due to its cancellation.

That's all I'll say, though... so I don't spoil it for you.  8)

it's great... wondefully written. today's episode actually left me feeling warm and fuzzy all over.

we're quite lucky pala... we get to see an entire season on cable. (kinda like how the reality show "playing it straight" aired complete here. )

i LOVE the dvd cover... "viewmaster" played a HUGE part of my learning years as a child....i even had that one that has "talks". LOL. (i wonder whatever happened to that toy... hmmmmm.)

This has to be one of the funniest shows in recent memory. I've seen all 13 episodes and like what Mr. Hankey mentioned, the series finale provides closure. If FOX didn't give it a chance, it must good!

I'm new here, and am a very avid fan of Wonderfalls. Caroline is so hot, yet so cool! 8)

Just want to ask, does anyone here know where I could get the Wonderfalls DVD here in
the Philippines? I can't buy it at amazon.com as I still don't have a credit card.

Please help. I just don't know what to do without Wonderfalls, and it is already in the 7th
episode in Star World (if I'm not mistaken...). Thanks for any help you could give. :)

try posting at the "wanted dvds" section of the "marketplace"... i'm sure our friendly sellers (like PARC, hubes, emidjr, hemisphere, etc. etc. ) will be more than happy to help you out.  ;)
