Title: manufacturers of plasma panels

Just wanna know what brands manufacture their own panels.  I heard that some brands just buy from manufacturers.  And what are the advantages if the brand manufactures or just buys

LCD manufacturers : Philips & LG (joint venture), Panasonic, Sharp, Samsung
OEM brands : Sony, Toshiba (?), Benq
