-
i dont think so.. dapat digital din un input form your pc using hdmi connection or optical.

exactly :) make sure to set yun settings ng sound from pc to spdif out or digital out para receiver mag decode :)

hmm I may be wrong ha but what I know is these new uncompressed formats only support HDMI & RCA analog connections. Hindi pwede ang optical & coaxial cos of limited sample rate.
-
^yep, alam ko nga hindi pwede spdif sa dolby and dts hd.
may mga bluray players na may analog output for dolby hd and dts hd right?
-
yes, meron. Like sa line-up ngayon ng Pioneer blu-ray players except sa BDP-120 lahat meron 7.1 analog out para sa mga walang HDMI equipped AVRs.
-
baka nga pwede siguro dolby hd and dts hd through analog sa htpc. way cheaper kesa bumili ng bagong a/v receiver to experience dolby and dts hd.

The new ATI Radeon 57xx series of video cards are able to bitstream Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio to HDMI, and should be the best combination with PowerDVD 9. It should also be an economical solution for first-time HTPC builders as this would not require a purchase of a separate audio card altogether.

the problem is through hdmi. yung avr ko kasi wala pa hdmi eh kaya umaasa ako sa analog ;D
