The problem with this release is it has no description on the package of how many discs are included or special features, and although in a bulky package, its cover art is just similar to the R1 2-Disc set. So you're really not sure what you're buying.

Hmm... the 350 price tag of a new title released by Viva worries me. Will Universal titles be of substandard quality like their 375 releases or do they just have a good deal with Universal?I guess only time will tell... Maybe if Viva finally release a really new (as in 2010) title from Universal, then we will know for sure. Their Universal releases (save for Bruno) seems to have imported discs, though sometimes I wonder if those are Magnavision leftovers (like if they bought Magnavision's remaining Universal inventory then repackage it).

the Universal-produced movies re-released by Viva are ugly pieces of sh*t! >:(Cut them some slack, at least they are still Imported DVD9 and priced low. The low-res DVD artwork does need improvement...

Sorry, wrong info here. It is a DVD9, but no DTS sound despite the presence of the DTS logo on the cover. :-[
Glee: Director's Cut Pilot EpisodeHate Viva for releasing these piecemeal, if at all. Prison Break, 24 get single disc (Final Break, Redemption) releases instead of full season. Glee S1 isn't done but they should have waited or released it US style (half-season). anyway, I will just vote with my wallet....by not buying it.

Yun ngang Legion, P499 yung isang version, P695 yung isang may sticker indicating na imported sya. Upon closer inspection, wala namang pagkakaiba. Medyo mas maganda pa yung mas mura dahil may slipcase sya. Mabuti sana kung imported na R1 yung mas mahal, pero R3 din. Just one sticker jacks the price up.

i think di talagang imported 'yung nasa slipcase. as far as i can remember, kapag imported daw, may number sa case. pag wala, nagpapanggap lang. hehe.

That's ridiculous, not the movie (I love the movie), but the edition. Why release it ng P750?! It's not like the movie just came out last July, it came out July LAST YEAR. And what's with the pink-green 3D? A lot of people will just steer away from that release and but the non-3D one, which is on sale for around P350-P600, some stores selling it for Buy 1 Take 1.
Pink-Green anaglyph 3D is SO much better and less eye-straining than Red-Blue.

WHAT I MEANT IS....why release that edition. It's pointless. Yeah sure they're for kids, but why release NOW? And at P750 you could buy another new release, not a year-old movie that's been rereleased. The first edition is already on sale. That was stupid of Fox and Viva.
I'm okay with the pink-green 3D. It's just the 3D release is stupid. That's my point.
a. I personally thought the Pink-Green of "Bob's Big Break" wasn't done well.
b. Fox-Viva just followed what their parent company Fox did in the US. The non-3D version of the film was released on R1 DVD on October 27, 2009 at a retail price of $19.98. The 3D version was released September 21, 2010 at a retail price of $29.98.

MagnaVision stated they'll release it on December 9. So how should I know that it's already been released at that store? I don't magically pop in every mall in the Philippines.

Bought the Shrek 4 Double Pack. The Donkey's Christmas Shrektacular DVD is R3 on the cover, and R1 on the disc. Played on my R1 laptop, it worked and it looks like an exact copy of the R1 version. Anyone who had that DVD?
