Long time coming....
This is for a fellow PDVD member and a friend who currently goes in and out of a mid sea sanctuary. ;D ;D
I have chosen the williamson circuit in building the amp. This is a work in process and shall be continually updated.

114x40 ang OPT, 96x40 will not cut it? hehehehehe.... or you just want to really make sure that it will be good? ;)

11460 alex, dynaco's (and even acrosound) original size was 11450, i have made it thicker because they are using M3, mine is M6..
with teflon couplings between primary and secondary windings i am sure it will be good. :D :D

I have a single Acrosound OPT for a PP KT88, what can I do with it?
I have tried eBay to source for another one, no luck.

now i see why your OPT's can be considered export quality, it got that european touch 8) Swiss/Germans in particular are very strict when it comes to quality, even the smallest details are thoroughly scrutinized.

good day sir edrel, yong project ninyo na tuba amp parehas ba sa heathkit w4-am at pre amp nito. kasi eto gamit ko na amp and pre amp heathkit. thanks

williamson po yung amp na ito using 6SN7s as driver and phase splitter with few modifications. maganda po yang W4M, meron akong W5M using GEC KT66s and it sounds fantastic.
i am just awaiting a few more parts from imports and i can put it all together na..

good day sir edrel, medyo baguhan lng po ako sa tube amp. pwede bang mag upgrade ng watts etong w4-am amp ko? sa ngaun gamit kong speaker ay jpw speaker. thanks.

this amp uses 5881/6L6 or a KT66 for an output of 25Wpc in push pull. i would not mess up with the amp just to have an increase of few power. the most logical approach is to match the amp to a fairly sensitive speaker. look for suitable ones in the vicinity of 90db and up sensitivity.

Yes James, unfortunately havent completed due to heavy business loads. This actually belongs to Bey, a fellow PDVD member. Once I am able to have the plant organized... this keeping me to a halt.
