Hi
Sa ansons ortigas straight cash.( Pag card 6months magiging 27thou.)
25,200 ang 32 LG LD460
30thou 37 LG LD460
Sa Abenson St Francis (Cash and straight card same price)
25thou- 32 LG LD460
30thou 37 LG LD460
Bakit naging same sila ng price sa shangrila store like sight and sounds and listening in style?
-
PAG GANITO BA PATI SA IBA NILANG STORE/BRANCH SAME DIN ANG PRICE? cavite kc ko so if ganito din ang price dun nko bibili at least no problem with the delivery..
-
^
Gulat pa rin ako tinapatan nila price ng sights and sounds and listening in style.
-
ah ok.. i think parehas na lng kc sa cavite ang warehouse nila eh.. well nway il inquire with them..
-
Check nyo rin ang Anson's Emporium (in Landmark) because iba ang owner sa Anson's At Home (Ortigas). Sometimes hindi lang nila kayang tapatan, napapababa pa nila compared to our resident sellers.
-
i talked to steve of abenson st. francis.. for approval pa daw ung P30K and lg 37" sabi nya.. well pag nabisita ko sana ma-ok nga..
inquire ko din later sa anson naman.
mas ok kc sakin pag abenson kc ung warehouse nila carmona so minimal lang delivery charge.. may points pako sa loyalty card nila. ;D
-
guys CONFIRMED sa ansons ortigas.. P30K for the 37" LG LD460! :D

-
How about the 42"? Magkano and with wall mount and dvd player ba?
-
Agree with vic, i remember wen i had a problem with my pana pv70, told him na parang hindi napupuno yung screen, his immediate response was " schedule naten replacement" as quick as that, i doubt if the chain stores can do the same.
Yung good after sales ang mahirap makuha sa chain stores.

Correct ka dyan bro..

How about pag after warranty?

Bakit mo pa ipapadaan sa store if you can call the maker directly through their hotline?
You should call the maker to report the trouble. For big items, normally the servicemen will visit your house. Kung under warranty libre, kung out of warranty, syempre hindi. Yun ang trabaho nila.
Sony Philippines has visited my house 2x for services since 2006. If they dont have the replacement part, babalikan nila yon.
Basta register your purchased TV or send the warranty card to the maker upon purchase.
After ilan minutes nagtext tatapatan daw.
-
Kaya nga bago ka bumili, tiyakin mo from your seller (chain store or otherwise) kung talagang meron Maker's Warranty or wala.
Sinasabi naman ng resident sellers dito specifically kung yung particular item is covered by maker's warranty or gray market diba?
Sa chain stores, malamang walang gray market choice, and if you ask any chain store, syempre sasabihin nila questionable yung warranty ng small shops - which may be true.
-
-
Clondalkin,
Nagcurious kasi ako nung sinabi i forgot kung ansons or abensons kahit after warranty free daw na pupuntahan sa bahay. Not sure kung abenson or ansons at no charge. Sa gray market may charge ba ang listening in style and sights and sounds?
Bago pa lang kasi ako dito nagbaback read pa ako. Sa shangrila sana ako bibili pero nung nabasa ko "The Seller/Brand (Pre Post Service)" nagdalawa isip ko if seryosohin ba ng maker pag hindi sa kanila mismo bumili.

Out of warranty na tapos libre pa rin - ano ka sinuswerte? hahaha.
Pag out of warranty, fair lang na may charge lahat. For instance with one of my Sony HD CRTs bought from Ansons in 2006 and serviced in 2008, out of warranty na. I knew out of warranty pero sinubok ko yung system nila kasi I had 2 identical Sony TVs and one was covered for 3 years (bale hanggang 2009) - pero Sony checked and traced the Serial No, kaya ayun lumabas na natapos in 2007 yung warranty of that specific TV - so ala rin akong lusot -hehehe. Still Sony sent their serviceman sa bahay as was agreed sa phone through CSR, and I was billed accordingly. The price was fair but sa receipt, they didnt indicate kung kasama yung pang-motor and pang burger ng serviceman - of course not - I think fixed ang minimum fee then additional kung may replacement parts needed.
Sa laki ng mga TV these days, kataka-taka naman kung hindi dadalaw ang maker's serviceman sa bahay mo if you need repairs - unless napakalayo ng bahay mo sa service center. Kung walang ganon service ang particular brand of TV, dont buy. I also have an LG na 32V sa bahay pero wala pang problem that required house-call. Tumawag lang kami a few times sa LG to consult about some power issues and they answered properly (sa phone).
Kung gray market ang TV mo, make sure na malinaw pa sa sinag ng araw ang usapan nyo ng seller about post-purchase support. Yun lang po. Ang isa mo pang risk would be kung biglang magsara yung tindahan (as was the case of that shop in Trinoma). So paano na yon? Pero to be fair with our remaining resident sellers, they seem to be on solid grounds - but they still need support of course. I would have bought from SnS kung di lang mas mura ng 3K sa Ansons. Sa ibang members, that difference would be offset by their trust sa SnS. Sa akin opinion, I would buy sa cheapest trusted store whether it be a big chain or sa resident seller natin - BASTA may Maker's Warranty. Ang mahal masiraan ng HDTV. If the maker would offer extended warranty for a reasonable fee, as was the case of my 2006 Sony, that's a sound idea (I think I paid like 2K pesos for 2 years extended warranty - so total was 3 years).
No maker's warranty? Can anyone clarify this?thanks
-
It all boils down to peace of mind for me. Kung difference lang sa presyo e not more than 3k, pero kapalit e guarantee na magandang aftermarket support, I'd pay for that 3k extra sa kilala at recommended dito. As per experience, maayos naman kausap Abenson at Ansons. I've bought TVs and other appliances there before and the rare instance na nagkaproblema item ko right after buying, maayos naman sila naging kausap.

Sights and Sounds is committed to quality service
We believe that if we give our customers a great shopping experience, then growth in sales will eventually come on its own. So rather than focusing on maximizing profits, we focus on maximizing the service that we provide.
-
Sights and Sounds is committed to quality service
It’s hard to shop for a TV without honest to goodness opinion from the shop. At Sights and Sounds, we tell buyers what to buy, which TV to look for and which TV to wait for. Our intention is really to guide buyers on how to spend their hard earn money wisely. It is for this reason that we had promoted several TVs in the past as the best value for money. Plasma TV, an awesome TV at that time, was never appreciated by the chain stores. Yet, with our honest believe on this product, we promoted it and the public accepted it as an awesome TV the money can buy. Even now LG LD460 series may not be as popular as it is without our foremost announcement as the best value for money TV.
Yes, this is what we did. We plant the seeds and the chain stores reap the fruits. Aren’t the chain stores now are also selling LG and Panasonic plasma TVs, when at that time they claimed that plasma is already a dead technology?
Nevertheless, the question remains: will the chain stores assist you in your buying decision?
Try to visit a big appliance store and walk down a row of dozen different TVs. Soon you will be swarmed by promoters who will instill you with different opinions: motionflow is better than trumotion, Bravia is better than Regza, LED is the best TV,... If you still are not convinced, they will persuade you for a better deal: Buy a TV and get a FREE washing machine. Are these promoters helping you in the decision? The answer is NO. They are there to catch the sales for their respective Manufacturing Company. Truly, when you are already so much confused with many TVs on display, you will be much more confuse after stepping out from the shop.
At Sights and Sounds, we provide the knowledge and attention better than the big appliances store. We will even suggest you to bring some of your favorite DVDs with you to see how they look on the TVs you’re auditioning. In a big retail chain, you may not be able to audition your own movies on a TV.

Sights and Sounds is committed to quality service
At Sights and Sounds, we deliver and install Plasma / LCD TV on the same day by our qualified technicians. We can promise this because, unlike many stores that rely on manufacturing company for limited service, we employ our own in-house knowledgeable technicians and installers, who are ready for the assigned job.
We install your TV with absolutely free of charge on the following: we mount TV on the table top, hook it up with cables from TV to any source, twik your TV to produce the right image brightness, colors, and contrast, pre-set your cable station TV program, and patiently guide you through in TV operation, Yes, there may be charges for mounting bracket, cables or other accessories, but not for the basic installation service we just mentioned.
Once your flat panel TV is fitted you can also be sure that we won’t leave it at that. In the unlikely event that that you experience a problem, such as changes in cable programming, our technical will still be there to do another round of TV service, even if he needs to pre-set your cable TV program again. Many sellers do not back their sales this way but to refer their customers to manufacturer guaranty service. If services not covered by guaranty, it is down to the customer to find service agent who will help them.
Service is just as important as buying the right flat panel TV. Surely service is one you can count on at Sights and Sounds.

Sights and Sounds is committed to quality service
Because of our effort to deliver quality service, we rarely advertise. Most of the time our business comes from word-of-mouth and repeat customers. We are recommended by many of our forum members. We take care of our customers and receive customer testimonials all the time.
Again, we greatly appreciate the many members that are already supporting us and we'd be nowhere without you all. If you want us around, we need your continued support. So use us, it's all we ask. Unless you're mad at us, think about us every time you buy.

Personal experience lang that may vary from person to person:
Last 2007, I purchased a Samsung LCD from Abenson, and in just a couple of days, I saw around 3 very bright stuck/dead pixels on the screen. Long and short, Abenson asked me to call Samsung which I promptly did. It took around 3-4 days for Samsung to send a technician over to check my unit, and after evaluation, they decided to pull out my LCD bec the stuck pixels were very bright and were quite large.
After 3 weeks, yes 3 weeks! I got my Sammy back but I noticed it acquired some panel scratches already, the worst part is, it still had stuck pixels though they were not as large as the previous ones. However, I felt like I ended up buying an item that was no longer minty fresh and even "aged" before I got to use it thoroughly.
Fast forward to 2008, I heard that there was a good dealer in Shang, called Sights and Sounds and I purchased a Panasonic LX80 LCD from them. After awhile (1 month) it had 4 dead pixels as well, but they sent a replacement the day after I made my complain.
Bottomline:
I prefer SnS simply because of the way they treat customers, I have nothing against huge chain stores but for me, what's important is how a dealer responds to a complain during the warranty period of an item.

This is indeed one, if not the truest and purest form of customer service that I have ever heard and hopefully experience in the future when I buy from SnS. Thank God for you, sir Vic! :) It is virtually impossible to find such dealer nowadays. More power SnS and Sir Vic! :)
-
we also bought our lcdtv from SnS and it was such a pleasure shopping for a tv from here. yung feeling mo ba na hindi ka lang "sini-sales talk" ng mga staff duon just for the sake of makabenta sila ng unit. they would be suggesting the best tv based on your viewing requirements. lahat ng mga queries mo masasagot nila na hindi mukhang nagdudunung-dunungan lang. di tulad nung mga nasa big chain stores na halata mong de-kahon yung mga sagot sa mga tanong mo about the product they're selling. if ever we'll be buying another set, SnS would be on the top or our shortlist of stores to buy from. sana hindi magbabago ang pakikitungo ng SnS sa mga cutomers nila at palaging customer satisfaction first...
thanks sir Vic & to the whole of SnS... :)

So magaganda feedback sa sights and sounds.

most of the none chain store sellers have both grey and local warrantied units. some of them might even have both units selling at the same time. of course the grey unit of the same model will definitely be cheaper. but as always the accompanying risks will always be there. but the question is, what happens to a grey unit you bought from these none chain sellers once its out of warranty?
1. you can have the store you got it from repair it for you. here is where the good and bad sellers differentiate themselves, good ones make sure your unit gets serviced, bad ones do the run around on you.
2. you can have the brand's local service center do it for you. will they accept your unit if its grey? of course they will, its still a business for them, if you need parts for your unit. they still make a profit out of your grey unit. will they charge you higher because yours is a grey unit. based on what i have read here, they will. but its a small price to pay for getting your unit cheaper when you bought it. :)
-
i guess there's nothing wrong with the said stores. havent got lcds from them pero yung dalawang aircon ko galing ansons and i got discount kasi straight payment. bought the units a month apart.

42LD460 is now P42K.

Sayang naman! Got mine last Aug 17 for 46k pa. Oh well

nadali din ako ng abensons first time kong bumili ng lcd.naisahan ang pagiging 'inosente' ko ::)
kaya ang ginawa namin nun, pumunta kami sa true value, kung sa kapal lang ng cable ang difference, sa truevalue na lang kami bibili, and we ended up buying a component cable from truevalue, almost 300 lang ata yun. kasi at that time, wala pa akong alam sa mga component/rca cables so sabi ko parang wala namang difference. kasi pala kinakabit ko sa video + L+R. dapat pala sa component. back to the topic, my experience with abensons, pati sa furniture nila may mga problems din ako naencounter, like di maganda yung pagassemble nila ng tv rack, may mga gasgas etc. a friend of mine bought a dining set from them, one of the chairs had a problem with it's legs, it took abensons almost a week to replace the item.
-
guys CONFIRMED sa ansons ortigas.. P30K for the 37" LG LD460! :D
Wow mura na nga.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good for you. My experience with SnS is the opposite. PM'ed E-Reply about a dead pixel on my newly purchased LCD TV, all I got from his reply was "We can replace the unit if there is a dead pixel. Unfortunately, we run out of stock of 42LZ80 already."
I was hoping to get a reply that say they will replace my unit once they have stock already or if not, will replace with another model. But that is all in the reply.
I'm really glad that the big name chain stores are competing in price with grey market vendors.

so what happened next here sir?
Nothing. Never went back to SnS after this. It was my first and last purchase from them.
-
^
Hindi ka nagrequest ng another model?
-
i think if they're really after the customer satisfaction, u dont need to request for such.. :-\
SnS should have discussed w/ boybi all the options.. then its up to him w/c to choose..
gandang ganda pa naman ako sa vision and mission ng SnS towards customer service.. well... well.. ???
its major major disappointment.. ang sakit kaya sa puso nung ganun na you're stuck w/ a unit na u know may little defect.. :'( hindi naman biro ung pera na ginastos mo for that..
hope to hear SnS comment on this.. ::)
-
its major major disappointment..
Usong uso pala talaga ang Miss Universe ngayon ... :D
-
I think Boybi must have misunderstood us when we said: "We can replace the unit if there is a dead pixel. Unfortunately, we run out of stock of 42LZ80 already."
Trying to recall our transaction, I do remember informing you that the item in-question (LZ80) is out of stock. That, however, does not mean we would no longer honor our commitment to replace the unit. The stock might be temporarily out of stock, but will arrive in another week or days. Due to numerous private messages we get in 1 day, I might have lapse my memory to get back to you in a timely fashion. Nevertheless, you have a forum where you can make a follow-up or address the issue. You could even call me up at my personal mobile and remind me of the replacement. I wonder if you had made any follow up for the replacement, cause if we do hear from you, we will definitely resolve your issue to your satisfaction.
-
Ayun naman pala e.
It's a minor, minor misunderstanding lang pala.
But a major, major resolution na yang inooffer ng SnS.
-
@boybi
Papalitan naman pala. Dapat nagfollow up ka.
-
yeah, what's weird was that boybi didn't follow it up.
sir vic's 3 month replacement policy (for defective units) is really awesome. further, he really takes the time to answer questions regarding his products.

true! kaya nga the delivery people told me to keep the box for three months. :)
sayang sir boybi, but maybe an arrangement can be done that is amicable to both parties para happily ever after pa rin. :)

-
Friend ko jan na din bumili.
-
I admit that I didn't make followups on the replacement. I was disappointed with the reply.
Sana nilagay sa reply na contakin sila after a week or something to followup, baka nagfollowup pa ako.
I'm not from Metro Manila, and it would take a big SUV without rear passengers or big van to transport the 42" TV with box. Kaya hindi ko na rin binalik sa SnS para iwan dun yung unit.

Guys let me clear this up lang, ang units ba sa shang- Listening in style and Sights and sounds gray market units except LG?

All our products are with local Manufacturing warranty. Please ask for warranty certificate to assure that the TV you purchased is covered with local Manufacturers' warranty.
Recently, the price of 'grey' product is not that attractive as what it used to be. With the yearly TV price drop, the grey product has become very uncompetitive. This effect has resulted to the shift in SnS marketing focus. Instead of selling 'grey' units, we now sell the TV distributed by local Manufacturers. :D

Thank you sir Vic. let me just say, grabe ang paninira ng Anson's and Automatic Centre sa small dealers. they keep on telling me na Grey market naman daw yung stuff that you sell in S&S that made me worried since you guys are the one asking samsung (and all the other companies for this matter) lang daw to repair broken units >:(

Just got my 37LD460 at Anson's Ortigas for significantly less than 30k. It was however, a group buy with another PDVD member who bought an Infinia. Very very happy with this TV.
-
FINALLY 37LD460 is now available!
37LD460 at P33K with FREE HT355SD.
TV only at P29,500.
Available on Thursday at Sights and Sounds 4th level Shangri-La Plaza. Tel 634-1789 to 90.

For those who wish to replace the 37" TV with backlight bleeding, just bring the TV together with SnS receipt when you come to our shop for replacement.

In the process of buying my LG LE7500, I *inadvertently* had the Makati, Trinoma and Pasig (in front of Podium) branches of Ansons cannibalise each other just to get my business. Here's what I learned: Pasig's, being the head office, has the most leeway when it comes to disounts ;)

When I purchased the V20 last August, Makati (Landmark) was actually able to discount much more than Pasig. They were even lower than SnS. I was informed the owners of Ansons Emporium (Makati) and Ansons At Home (Pasig) are different (same family though), and sabi ng Makati that time, they were the ones who could bring the price at its lowest among all Ansons. Oh well.
-
Standard ata ang 3-5% off sa cash but if maayos ang approach mo at natuwa syo ang manager then Swerte! ;D
Ang pinakamalaking discount ko sa Western Sta. Rosa. Got a washing machine at 15% off ;) that time di nakayanang tapatan ng iba.

Finally bought 32LG460 last Sunday after reading a lot of good reviews here.
Got it for 22.3K for 3 months % interest in Anson's Ortigas.
I was planning to get it sana from SnS kaso wala sila stock that time and my wife is really excited to have one because it's my bday gift to her.
The good thing about the TV is it can play any type of file directly from my sata HDD (with enclosure from cdrking). Only problem though is the optical audio out. I only have my mini component without optical in.
I found optical-to-rca converter online http://www.hdtvsupply.com/digital-to-analog-audio-converter.html (http://www.hdtvsupply.com/digital-to-analog-audio-converter.html) pero dahil sa price mukhang mas sulit kung bibili na lang ako ng HT805 ;D
-
Kano pag cash ung 32LD460 na unit? Thanks =)
-
i think they can give it 21k just name the price. ;)
i bought 37ld460 29k cash @ ansons. :D
-
Yes!!! Thanks =)
-
Kano pag cash ung 32LD460 na unit? Thanks =)
Cash price is 22k, straight payment on card is 23k but I got a tip from Anson's Makati that 3 months % interest is cheaper than the straight payment. The sales agent on Anson's Ortigas didn't know about this ::) and he was surprised when he confirmed this on the computation from his manager.
Since 3 months by card is only 300 more than cash price, I chose to pay by card, sayang din ang points. ;)
i think they can give it 21k just name the price. ;)
i bought 37ld460 29k cash @ ansons. :D
Yes I think the last price depends on the agent and how you ask for discount. ;)
-
I hope they dont have these units bundled with the HT's. Guys how would you compare this unit against the LH35? which one has better standards? noobz here...
-
For those who wish to replace the 37" TV with backlight bleeding, just bring the TV together with SnS receipt when you come to our shop for replacement.
How do we test it Boss Vic?
Please PM me the instructions. :)
TIA! :)
-
Agree with vic, i remember wen i had a problem with my pana pv70, told him na parang hindi napupuno yung screen, his immediate response was " schedule naten replacement" as quick as that, i doubt if the chain stores can do the same.
Yung good after sales ang mahirap makuha sa chain stores.
GANUN? E SIMPLENG INSTALL LANG NG DVD AND AUDIO RECEIVER HUMIHINGI NG DAGDAG ??? I HEARD FROM A FRIEND..........

We use them mostly for repair service. We loan out (lending out) it to our customer whose TV is sent for repair. :D

sir vic yung lg ld460 ba may FW update na to play dts coded mkv files? most mkv files kasi dts ang audio...

yan ang ok!
ang naiisip ko kasi once ibinalik ng store sa manufacturer, baka may mga units na almost no issue at all e baka repack nga and distribute elsewhere. di maiiwasan na may mga user/owner na metikuloso sobra. peace ;)
-
edited trinoma to shang.medyo nagkamali.lol
-
maganda nga at may option tayo kung grey or local.
-
Confirmed, walang stocks sa SnS (as of 24th of Dec).
Which store ang may stock nito?
I'm looking for another 37LD460 or preferably 42LD460+HT905TA
Anson cash & carry sells 42LD460+HT905TA for 45t, if with HT805PM 41t. Price confirmed!
Please PM me if you know any store that has that available package.
Preferably near Greenhills/Ortigas Center.
TIA! :)
-
Any update?
Mura nga daw sa Anson's. No need to haggle na daw according to Snicky.
42LD460
w/ HT805 = P41k
w/ HT905 = P45k
Same price I got from Anson's Trinoma. They'll call me up once they restock.
In case other branches have restocked, please let me know naman. :)
Tia! :)
-
Available na ba ito sa Anson's?
-
Sa Anson's po.ba same ang cash price with that of the card price? if ever po na hindi how much po kaya yung bundle ng 42ld460 for 12m0nths? TIA!
-
up ko lang po :)
-
asked ansons ortigas last fri (jan7), then said the 42lg460d are out of stock, and no (more?) 805 bundle at 40k and 905 at 45k. they only have the "usual" 50% off lg htib when you get an lg tv :(
-
so in short wala na ang offer na ito...parang sinabing may promo sa Tutuban Mall na P20K lang ang bundle pero hindi alam kung kailan available this year or next year or never...Suma tutal: WALA!
-
my husband and I are planning to buy LCD TV this February but we're still torn between Samsung LA37C550 and LG 37LD460.. how much po ang pinakamurang price nung dalawang TV? where to buy the cheapest one? IS this website owned by Sights and Sounds? Maybe? I cannot say the same for myself, I personally went to this store yesterday, I inquired about the toshiba on display and the guy who went up to me said 19k daw. Well, I did not have any cash yesterday but I really wanted to buy the LCD already, so I asked him if I can get it thru card straight payment. And without bating an eyelash informed me that "NO" di raw pwede. I was somewhat irked kasi wala man lang effort from his side to ask his boss if pwede, dahil eager naman ako to purchase the unit. Look, straight payment naman yun, NOT 0%. Nagkataon lang na wala akong dalang cash and gusto ko na talgang bilhin, I asked the guy several times, pero wala talagang effort to ask the manager if they can give it to me. Buti pa sa Listening in Style, when I asked kung pwede ang card sa item nila, the salesman immediately asked his boss. Well, you might say, eh isang customer lang naman yan, so what marami pa naman ang bumibili sa Sights and Sound, ok lang. But I will make sure, I will let all my friends, officemates, acquaintances know the experience I had with Sights and Sound. Sobrang disappointed lang ako because I really wanted to buy the unit yesterday, but I did not get the "superb customer service" that one of the clients was raving about.
Notice why SM Appliances, eventhough they are more pricey, still customers buy from them? It's because once their there ayaw na nila mag canvass kasi may magandang customer service ang store. That's just my two cents. Again, I'm just one customer. Why would you care! Right?

Personally, I haven't bought a single item from from SnS yet (all my flatscreens so far have been from Ansons), but to be fair, I wouldn't singlehandedly dismiss the pro-SnS sentiments of everyone else on this website - even going so far as to imply their being paid hacks for the merchant - just because of one store clerk whose unsatisfying customer interface may not necessarily be representative of the entire store's.
Heck, my brother and I had an unpleasant experience ourselves with LIS last year, when we felt that the store attendant was being throughly disinterested with our inquiries, probably because we didn't look "monied" enough. And then there's the case of SM Appliances at The Block, who refused to replace my elder sister's one-week Toshiba Regza until I finally stepped in and threatened them with DTI involvement. But despite these *isolated* incidents, I wouldn't categorically dismiss these stores as unreliable vendors on the overall (I even bought a Hitachi aircon and Sharp washing machine from SM The Block months afterwards, in fact).
Sorry about your case, just the same.

Dude, I think thats SnS policy. The store clerk knows that, thats why he doesnt made any effor to ask his boss. I think thats the same for other electronics store, they just have a different way of doing it (with discount if cash price, but actually thats the real cash price). btw, I didnt see in your post if you asked the store clerk to check with his boss. Because when I had my purchase several months ago, the store clerk also said there is no freebies. I requested if he could ask his boss since Im from Pdvd, which he promptly did (but still didnt got any hehe)

Hi Bachwitz,
I'm from the service and sales industry business, too. So I know that there are policies, but I believe that there are more than one way to entice a customer to buy. But you know, the good thing is, I got my new LCD (Toshiba Power Booster) from Anson's Ortigas. The Salesman (Julius) was very accommodating, was very patient in answering all my questions before I paid for my item. I asked him, if I can still get the discount if I used the straight payment and he said yes, but the best part was, he gave me the discounted price and in 0%. So that's what I mean when I say good customer service. Just sharing my good experience with Anson's. ;)
Disclaimer: This is not a paid advertisement for Anson's Ortigas. Just a Happy customer sharing. :D

Thank you for calling our attention.
First and foremost, we regret that you did not have a pleasant experience shopping with us.
I wonder if you were able to get the name of the salesman. Our company policy is that we should not deny any customer of the credit card transaction. To do so will violate our card affiliation. If there's a salesman in our shop who denies to honor your card, that salesperson might be outsider--not a representative of our company.
There is a criminal operandi that everyone should be aware about. A culprit will appear in the shop posting as a salesman. He will mingle with the customer and convince him to buy the product being offered. Definitely, he will not allow you to pay in card cause such payment will put him at disadvantage. After consummating the transaction, the culprit will get your money and ask you to wait for the product. The fact is you will wait for hours until you finally will confront the cashier for your order. By that time, you will be too late to know that you were victimized by the 'salisi gang'.
I am pretty sure the person you talked to was a culprit. It was a blessing that you didn't become a victim to this operandi.
By the way, our Toshiba 32AV700 is always P18K and not P19K. Everyone who read the post knew that the TV is P18K. We will have a hard time explaining to the pinoydvd if we don't post the right price.
And also by the way, WE DON'T OWN PINOYDVD. Rather, WE OWE PINOYDVD for the great business it had directed us. :D :D

+1... i have been to sns... staff are very helpful and courteous.. mahirap na makabenta ngayon im sure hindi sasayangin ng staff opportunity to make a sale... siguro may quota din sila or something...

I am not sure ho kung may uniform na ang staff nyo dyan sa SNS since the last time I visited your store was over a year ago at wala nga sila uniform.
but to be fair with your staff, every time I had been to your place asikaso nila kami.

This thing had happened last week at the mall. Our Staff is now required to display his dog tag ID. :)

Good suggestion. Uniform will be implemented in 2 to 3 weeks time while ID will be visible in a day or two. :D

Everytime na magtratransact ka ng business ay you should go to the cashier sa may counter... thats the best measure to avoid "salisi"..in any store whether small or big... duon ay bibilangin nila ang pera mo or if you are using a credit card, you should guard how they are handling your card information;.. Be vigilant..hwag magtatanga-tangahan or magtiwala masyado sa mga Pinoy! Pilipinas ito! They got Talent! ;D

Abensons is now selling the LG 42PJ350 plasma at P29,995.
Too bad this baby is not Full HD.

sa presyong yan.. dali humanap ng partner
abenson trinoma

^
aside from the usual obvious pros of regular plasma vs regular LCD,
how else can this model beat the LD460? in which aspect?
TIA! :)
-
i have never had a plasma... and hindi ako marunong tumingin picture's quality...
but just by looking at it turned off... masasabi ko... its... sleek looking... manipis siya.. almost like led... and manipis din bezels...

Hi SnS,
Thank you for your reply. If that guy was a "salisi" good thing I don't bring with me cash. But I will try to drop by you place again, to see if he's one of your staff.
Thank you for calling our attention.

IS this website owned by Sights and Sounds? Maybe?
nope. pinoydvd is not affiliated with sight and sounds. @e-reply is the owner of sight and sounds and is a regular member of this site. if you have read a lot of positive reviews from other members it maybe because the the store earned those reviews. but occasionally there will be negative reviews such as yours and i think its up to @e-reply to respond to you guys.
and as such, we dont take out the comments of any members positive or negative (as long as it is done according to the posting rules of pdvd), since these comments are what the members want to know and it also gives the merchant members the opportunity to know whether their service is good or bad as well.

i have never had a plasma... and hindi ako marunong tumingin picture's quality...
but just by looking at it turned off... masasabi ko... its... sleek looking... manipis siya.. almost like led... and manipis din bezels...
Very thin nga for a plasma, first time I saw it I thought it was an LED panel, di pala. PQ was not bad but you really need to optimize the settings.
